[Dokey]

I normally play on Classic, and when I tried to log into Renewal today I got the following error message:

 

skininfo_new.lua:219: attempt to call global `C_IsSteamOn' (a nil value)

 

I'm not very good with computers, and I tried looking through the technical advice section... but I don't understand any of it. Would someone be able to give me step by step instructions on how to fix this?

 

I use Windows 7 if that matters :x

Yes, I saw that thread. I do not have patchup.exe in my folder, so I can not right click it and run as admin :]

We fixed it. There were a number of thingies with "patch" in the name, and I just ran all of them as admin until one finally worked! 
 

Now to see what nostalgia and treasures I have in my storages +_____+
