I just want to reiterate, even if not elected, I will (if allowed) communicate openly with the elected officials in order to help bring about ideas and other content brought to my attention, as well as consolidating and helping to gather data already out there.
I'm the one who does your essays in college, and the one who tutors you for homework.

as a final note, to all priests and other members of the community,
this is our chance to help bring the changes we have been asking for to our classes, and make a developed, well thought out, and balanced system for PvP and PvE
changes should not be "NERF THIS/BUFF THAT" it should be about making wise decisions to help class playstyles as a whole-
you must remember contributing ideas is great but this isnt just about ONE CLASS- but all of them together- numbers must be layed out side by side across the board- all classes must be brought into a similar field of numbers in order to make things flow smooth-
you must also remember that "nerfing/buffing" skills and damages is not what this is about- because these numbers mean LITERALLY NOTHING until raid/dungeon/field monsters HP's and damages are also adjusted- Yes PvP balancing is a major concern, but that is why we must be very careful in order to make sure that all classes are brought onto a similar field.
this isnt about saying "our class is OP, -or- our class is terribad" this is where we must bring formulas to the table, and compare and adjust accordingly.
Stats/Skills are not working properly as a whole- remember this isn't about fixing those alone- this is about bringing change to ALL CLASSES.

Agreed. It's pretty useless to make assumptions based on the current state of the game, we should wait for the stat fixes first (expecially on AGI). I've seen many priests stating our class is OP, but I think our attack output is just okay (we finally don't have to rely on "stealing" kills in colo with ROG) while our ability to heal ourselves is balanced by our low defense. I guess this will become clearer if the AGI formula gets fixed, many classes can make huge damages to us if they're able to hit us properly.

As stated stats should be fixed and then it can be seen what needs to be touched or not. Although one priest in the past did try going we are OP forgoing the fact s/he had all osiris gear, all stat and skill points (basically maxed lvl). Forgetting that not everyone is that lvl and need the somewhat decent situation we have currently with the priests (not saying there isn't things to work on - whether with our class and the others along side).

SMs can heal too, and yet they can't kill anything. Just about the only way a SM can kill anyone is if we don't die during the long cast time of Sacrifice and only then if it happens to crit. That's about it. Not only are Priest skills instant or near-instant casts, they can run around while using them. Priest class has always been on top in Collo since the beginning of the game. This has never changed.

Actually, sorc has more spammy heals, and with less cds. But theyre not SO good unless they switch to Earth Emblem before using it. Even their deluge is better than the priest equivalent, sanctuary.
Having played both sorc AND priest AND soulmaker, I can tell you my experiences so far. The reason Priests are so considered "op" is not just the heals alone (dont forget that, in pvp instances, other classes can heal themselves too after all). Its the heals combined with their DoTs and survivability together. Priests aren't op on their own... its the way people play them in pvp and how well they can survive, that is "strong" against other classes. As for SMs, too many of their skills, offensive and support, require you to stand-still; thats their weak moment. If SM's didnt have to stand-still for most skills, they'd be an even more terrible force to deal with. Priests, however, can cast DoTs while moving, and same goes for their renovatio and highnessheal, and using aspersio, and high survivability. Only big weak moment for priests is if theyre stunned/knocked-down, or when they're using Aqua Benedicta to recharge Holy Water ('cause, you know, its not infinite uses :V )
I gotta agree with Sinnana on what she said, its exactly what I've been saying before =) Changes must be made fair and honestly and considering how they could possibly affect other classes and not just ours.
I hope whoever becomes Priest VCR keeps this in mind when providing feedback.

Well then tell GMs to fix SMs if you think they are not balanced, you certainly won't help them by nerfing priests. Priest skills are istant? Nope, just 2 of the dots are istant. Ray of genesis has a long cooldown and cast time, holy light is weak and slow casting, we have to cast aqua benedicta every 30-40 seconds and its cast time is like 4-5 seconds, not to mention some of our skills are totally useless as they are now (lex divina, angelus, superagium and every other heal skill but Reno and Highness Heal). Priests being on top in colo depends solely on people being lazy and not killing them in the first rounds, preferring to kill newbies and low HP targets. People could kill priests very easily if just they tried, it's sufficient to stun them for a few seconds, then you can kill them very easily as their defense sucks.
Btw it's not like I want priests to be "OP", I'm just warning people not to be reckless, we could regret taking decisions now and priest could be the next "broken" class.

That, my friend, is something I've been saying to my guildies since before AoV lol that, and people scared by their hp pool; people dont wanna bother with priests 'cause they heal themselves... yet they kill sorcs or sm's who can heal too, and rogues and sins using their gp and grimtooth... healing ability isnt an excuse not to try and kill a priest. But as you said, people prefer to go for seemingly weaker/lower lvl targets instead of eliminating the main threats from the first rounds. In the end rounds you're left with those who you should have got rid of first, and they beat you. Also, its a matter of "many" players going for them, and not just one. Be smart, work with others you wont have problems beating later, take down main threats to you, and leave the rest for thefinal rounds that you can handle better.
