I dont know if this is the right place to post this kind of topic but anyway..

I cant decide between being either a Mage or Thief.
Ive read that thieves aren't good for newbies. (I'm a total newbie.)
And ive also read that Mages are good for newbies.
I need some opinions here.
Should I go thief, even though its gonna be tougher for me, or would it be best to go mage because of its 'newbie friendliness' and thieves actually need some experience to be effectively played.

With rental gear thieves should be easy, actually playing thief class is a lot more forgiving then playing mage class. Also later on you could make a shadow chaser which is a half mage/half theif.

Thanks, I went ahead and made a thief since you posted, its currently level 11 / 13.
Having a bit of trouble on when and where to level, I just went south of the thief zone and killed Pickies and Condors.

Funny, I'm a newbie too, and I heard the opposite
I've been ok with thief until now though... I'm just too slow at lvling xD
