Step 1: Bots continually inflate the economy.

Step 2: Legit players can't compete and are forced to buy Kafra Points.

Step 3: Gravity profits.

Now tell me why they would actually care about getting rid of bots?

It's just like politics. They'll keep pretending to be doing something about it but if the money keeps rolling in you won't see any change.

Welcome to the real world, Neo.

There's no sustainability if the players are all pissed off.

Our problem isn't that WarpPortal don't care, because if you cared to research this matter you'd find out that they do, it's that established bot farmers are very good at cycling bots and laundering their profits to keep it on the server, and for every hour spent eradicating 20 bots, double that number can be produced and geared to continue their tireless work.

After a few accounts of botters and spammers get done this way word will get out and they will avoid the server like the plague.

They've lost more than a few thousand accounts like this, and it doesn't seem to have discouraged them.

Limit active log ins per ipv6 address

RO doesn't use IPv6.

or mac address to 1.

Restricting by MAC address makes about as much sense as trying to reject all packages from a certain sender by blacklisting the license plate number of the vehicle used to drop off the package at the nearest shipping outlet.
