That aside, I can't help but applaud the filmmakers for making such a good balance of CGI and practical effects. I don't mind CGI if done properly enough to blend both the live-action elements and the fake elements together seamlessly in a way that it's hard to tell what's real and what's not. That is the artistry of filmmaking I feel gets half-assed in a lot of movies and it shows very obviously. Despite the atrocities of Jurassic Park 2 and 3, the film series as a whole has done a pretty good job of not overusing CGI unlike a lot of films out there nowadays. So good job, Universal.
Overall, if you like the first Jurassic Park movie, you'll like Jurassic World just as much.
