seemings all games are getting affected by this - I figured I would make a new topic on it- in a support forum for all games

Another night of constant disconnects. And no its not on my end nor on any player end and its not only while vending. Friends from USA, from England, all people that were playing in ruins ... we all went poof more than once. And by the way, that bug that was fixed (the talking in pm making you dc) well... its not.
The situation got worse since the ISP maintenance. Why? I have no clue, i just play the game. But it would be nice to have a fix quickly. Its getting really annoying.
Last note: when some party friends did dc i remained in game but with huge spikes of lag.... No idea if that helps to understand whats going on...

Ever since the 26th when the servers were down for the majority of the day, the server has been extremely unstable. Many of us believed that when you had the downtime for the ISP upgrade, that you would be somehow improving the stability of your server however it seems to have just gotten worse. Many of my guild members have been losing exp wasting AED's in result of the massive amount of disconnections and increased lag and response time of the server.

I believe, that I am not alone in wondering, what exactly is being done to improve this issue? Many of us out here (the loyal Warp Portal Customers) who may or may not spend money on monthly subscriptions and additional items that become of no use when the user loses control of the ability to play their character.

While this may be somewhat long winded this is costing us experience, play time, and many are getting very frustrated and thinking of playing other games until your company can get the server back to its previous semi-mostly-stable state.

I suggest the extension of this event perhaps, and a response from the GM/DEV Team as to what we have to look forward to in the near future when it comes to the server stability.

yea. and if you check the Rose, R.O. and that new Dragonwhatever game they got, they all have posts in last few minutes saying same thing we are. Gravity's servers/ISP been epic unstable today. Lots of ppl dcing. Server's damn near crashing or briefly going down repeatedly.

Let's see how many threads on all their games I can dig about dcs tonight.

tbh; I don't care if it takes 4 days to switch ISP's I have stopped playing(2 days now) until this issue is fixed, I will not log in until someone says the constant dc's are over.

I don't know how long this server issue has been going on, but I find it disappointing when no staff member addresses the issue even after there's still complains after yesterday's maintenance. All the posts about this issue is on the 1st and 2nd of November about an ISP issue. No other post has been made yet.

Whatever is going on, whether it's a wire cut or power outrage, staff, do you know what is going on? Communication is the key. Though, I can't judge much because I've only been playing DS a week.

And, I agree with some of those quotes. I don't find myself playing any Gravity games if disconnects are frequent. If these issues happen for over a month, most of the population would most likely leave or not play much.

@Goldysticks, sadly we have addressed this with a lot of the posts, but not all of them obviously.

There is so many causes for lag, there is a number of things that cause you to disconnect as well.

Right now as we have been stating, we are aware that our ISP has an issue with some of the routing. They are also aware and are working on it and are giving us notices when they are doing changes that may affect our connection in order to fix the overall problem.

We are also looking at our own network to see if there are ways that we can improve the service and reduce the disconnections and latency that the players are feeling.

I haven't gotten dc'd in a lil while now - however I can feel it coming on when I go to sleep to vend

Hopefully that is good news. We did a very small change to our network on Thursday which we don't feel it will be a fix, but its also possible that our ISP's issues are being sorted out as well.

We are not done working on this and currently on top of our priority list for our IT team.

I noticed I haven't disconnected much either from the last time I posted on this thread. It's not a few times but rather, zero to once a day. I have lagged a bit so I close the game in case my character dies. Sometimes it's the "abnormal server status 0000" or "disconnected from server". The times I disconnect are in the afternoon, but by night time/evening, I hardly have any lag or disconnections.
