Hi!

 

I have a lvl 100 gene and im just wondering that if my homun is 99, and it gains more exp while im still a gene, will that cause problems when I get the Amistr Homun to Sera in the end???

 

Currently, I have a level 98 amistr and its exp is around 94.5%. Reason that I havent evolved it to 99 and Homun S is that I am tryin to get Bloodlust skill. It might be a pain if u say, but I want it to be perfect!

 

I am also aware of the cons of the homuns continuous leveling after 99 when the char is a gene. Though at the moment, im just afk-ing and feeding my homun while waitin for it to be loyal, and when its loyal I will level it up immediately to 99 then Homun S
 

So, again, will my homun receive and have a problem if its level is 99 and still gaining exp while I am at my third class form?

You can level your homun to level 99 without worry. The penalty (HP/SP) only apply if you have level 100+ homun as non HomunS. Stats should be always get capped to 150 as homunS depend on base homun and your homunS

You can level it to 99 now then stop leveling and just loyal it in town. Don't let it become a level 100 amistr.

Yes, I remember a friend having a 103 Filir that has not even evolved yet.

 

Apparently, Homunculus S gets more stat growth per level, so if you level from 99 to 100 as a Homun, then your homun would miss out on the extra stats it could have gotten if it was already a Homun S.

Are you really sure, that it is alright to gain more exp while the owner is a gene and the amistr , no is 99?

I've been hearin people say yes, no, ask the forums, maybe...

I just want to be sure, that is all!

Just make sure that it won't pass level 99 before you mutated it into S form.

That's the only thing you should be concerned about.

If you are not a gen yet: If homun is not level 99, level it. Once it is 99, do not level it (if you keep getting exp on it, it can get overflow exp, such that once you become a gen, killing a poring or something will cause it to level to 100)

 

If you are gen:

 

If homun is level 98 or lower, level it until it is 99. 

If homun is level 99 and it is NOT a homun S yet, AVOID LEVELING IT

 

Once it is homun S, you can level it to 150.

After spending time trying to level my Amistr which now Sera, I feel like I should have just keep it to Amistr and level him up to 116. Homunculus S attack is so slow, not to mention stucked in an animation when being hit. Gawd.. it is going to take forever to get her to 116! How do people do it?

it's only hard up to 105. once you get needle of paralysis it's easier.

Sera will be messed up on the stat and will make the leveling progress even slower than you think.

Uh, yeah, I think Ami->Sera may miss 150 int if you were to level it to poison mist without changing it to homun S - which would cripple the usefulness of the very skill you're trying to get, not to mention compromising the purpose of a sera by reducing the SP pool (sera can run low on SP if you're PKing a party, even with 150 int and 50 levels of sera SP growth - though SP problems are rare with a properly built sera. They would not be rare if you waited til 116 to change from ami).

All that matters is the level, not the exp%.

I am quite relieve now as I have leveled my homun to an S class Sera now!

Also, I have a couple of new questions:

(1) Are my Sera's stats good? Im just curious thats all (Just manually dictated stats below)

(2) Can homuns still attack while sitting? (If yes, how? My homun doesnt attack at all while sitting or is it just doesnt do that kind of thing?)

Don't worry about the stats - if you want commentary, run it through the calc and get the actual stats, but it really doesn't matter - it'll hit the cap before 150. 

 

By default, AzzyAI goes non-aggressive when owner sits. To disable this, set DoNotUseRest to false using the configuration tool. You must vap and resummon homun after saving changes.
