I think it's about time to tell how my journey on here is going. It's going perfectly fine, even better as I expected. My little guy and me had some tough times in game, but the level windmill and headspin finally kicked in all worries were washed away. Till today I think this particular day became Hippo's second birthday on here.
We've been through many changes (including outfit changes), met some really nice people and actually made a lot of new friends. And something very new happened on here too. Hippo got his first ever pet in the whole history of Hippo's worldwide story. Not to mention we had to try some, till we finally found one that was love on first sight.
This little one here was our first try. As you can see I changed Hippo's clothings to make him look really pretty for the first meeting. Sadly both of them very kinda confused and not entirely sure about getting put together.
But at the end, they did set up the deal not to kill each other and actually worked pretty well together for some time. But after some time the summer was leaving and little Gryphi felt the urge to move on and fly to the south with his family. Hippo was kinda sad.
So, what do all good pet owners do when they are getting sad over a pet?
Exactly.
They do their second jobchange to cheer themselves up.
And like all good pet lovers they......
....get themselves a lot of new cloth shopping .........aaaand a cute little baby cat. 
HIppo really loved his little fluffy kitty. They were like best buddies. But time went by, litte fluffy baby cat turned into an adult cat and became a granny cat. Little kittycat had a good long life with Hippo on here, but like all good things it came to an end. KittyCat passed away but still has her very own spot in Hippo's inventory and maybe someday it will be living again. Like all great pets on here do.
While being on a hunt to kill Akanai something weird happened. An invisible something left an egg right before Hippo's bare feet. Bare feet? Yes, I had to learn my lesson that Hippo on here prefers to run around on bare feet. He never did this before, but oh well.....if this is making him a happy Hippo, it's fine to me.
I think you can guess what we did with that egg...
....right, we just had to open it. Neither the dragon creature thing, nor Hippo was expecting this. But after a while Hippo learned to love his new buddy. And I learned a "Toothless" is actually named "Dark Flip" on here.
After some more time passed these two made the perfect match. They ran together, they fought together, they even flew around together and they really loved each other.
They are best buddies till today. And till today they do every single thing they do together. They even share the same kind of ears, what in my opinion is really cute.
Some more time passed, Hippo and Darki (that's how we secretly tend to call our Dark Flip) were about ready for their final fight. So we just did it. Eye in eye with a big scary bone dragon. But we weren't alone in this battle, we had some of the new friends with us. Without them we had lost this final battle for sure. But with their help all of us made it. And so finally.....
Yes, we made it through the final jobchange. At this point I thought Hippo's journey had come to an end. After gaining two more levels the Hippo on here is exactly on the point the old Hippo was as he got wiped - like all other EU chars.
But no it wasn't. Do you remember the promise I made to myself in the very first post on here?
Believe it or not, but one day this little guy is running around in game in his very own HipHop set again.
I kept my promise, After a months long search I finally found out how Hippo's old EU set is named on here, by a pure accident. One of the very lucky ones. I guess we just were at the right spot on the exactly right time as we saw a stranger running around in Hippo's old set pants. We both still thank you for this, thank you unknown stranger.
The rest was kinda easy, as the set was put in the bighweel after my request on here it only needed some w-coins. Thank you so much Popcorn for forwarding this. You became a big part of Hippo's journey, thank you.
I think I can honestly say I found my new home on here within this very nice and special community and directly on the last official DragonSaga server.
It's a honor to me to be a part of the community on here, it really is. I feel proud and I'm sure little ......uhrm........grown up Hippo and Darki do too. Thank you for being this community you are and for welcoming all the new players from all around the world.
But there is one thing left I need to do, I need to end the topic of Hippo's journey on here. I think it's about fair to end it the same way I have started it.
This is the very last picture I took in game, showing my very last char, on the very last day the Dragonica Servers were open. Four hours after taking this pic the Dragonica EU servers were shut down for forever. And it's taken exactly in the spot everyone of us begins their very own DragonSaga journey, or had begun their Dragonica EU journey.
And this is the very last picture I took in game, showing my very first char on here. On the exact date Hippo's started journey is over. And it's taken exactly in the spot everyone of us begins their very own DragonSaga journey, or had begun their Dragonica EU journey.
Thousands of kilometers (miles), the EU server closing, months of tough gameplay and the creation of a new existence on here are between this two pictures. We had some good and some bad times, it was tough to start over completely fresh and with not a single thing left (except Hippo's elf ears).
But it was so totally worth it. And if I had to make the decision of doing this again, I would so go for it and do it again.
This first journey may be over now. But with Hippo reaching level 63 on here just yesterday a new journey just begun. Hippo and Darki are now going to places no Hippo was going before.
