Okay so here's the deal, I recently got myself a Bongun(YAY ) and hatched it, but then I realized that I would have to Transcend into an Assassin Cross eventually. And I guess we're not supposed to have a pet while transcending, so my question is this:

Should I revert my Bongun back into an egg now? And then rehatch it after I transcend?

It seems like a waste if I feed it now only to reset it's loyalty.

Pets retain their affection levels when put back into their eggs. They don't get reset.

Wierd...I could've sword I saw a guide that said it reset affection...

What about being put into the Kafra storage?

Doesn't matter. Putting them in their eggs just puts their stats on pause, doesn't do anything else.
