Why does no one play battlegrounds?
I came back because of the Battleground Update.

No idea, pretty sure guilds just run it as an event(like an ET run)

Sucks. This is such a great game that Nobody plays. always 800~ people online, 600 of which are merchants, 120 of which are bots, 80 that are players.
It's not a fun online game if there are only 80 people on at any given moment, most of which are doing top tier/guild content that new players can't even participate in.
Where's my incentive to stay? I really want to keep playing this game but every time I start it up I find more reasons not to. :/
I don't want to play a private server either, but from what I hear they're far more active than this official server.

The problem with battle grounds was (at least for me) the Shadow Chasers. one rapid throw and you're dead. It took a long time to queue for the thing for that skill to be used against you and that's it. Over in seconds. Like many say, "If you don't like it don't do it" So I don't. Just like PVP.

Yeah, I finally got a match to pop after like, an hour and 40m and it was just guild members Win-Trading for KVM points.
Guess I gotta find something else to play. Glad I discovered this before I bought a rideword hat out of the shop and stuff. I was pretty hyped. Oh well.

Try Classic it's bg is usually constantly active and some people do fight during it while the farmers kill the guardians and stuff.
