Hi there,

 

I was catching up on my Scholar's job levels today and noticed, while working toward Heaven's Drive, that I was being overcharged. I'd spent three excess skill points by the time I got there.

 

On looking at the requirements, I noticed that it listed Stone Spike twice, at 1 and 3 points (as if completely separate requirements). That would account exactly for where the amount of 'missing' points went.

 

As much as I'd like to have Heaven's Drive, I don't think burning three points for nothing is worth it. Thought I should post a note on the issue, though!

It is possible the in game skill desc is bugged and showing only wizard requirements instead of sage.

It may be using more points than expected because it requires endow quake on sage, but not on wiz.

The oddity there is that it would make Heaven's Drive more expensive as a Scholar than it was as a Sage, which only requires Earth Spike 1. The info on Scholar says, separately, Earth Spike 1 and Earth Spike 3.

That's understood and would be correct, but let me show you an example of the prerequisite line for Heaven's Drive on a Scholar, as it presently exists/shows ...

 

Study 5

 

Endow Quake 1 (Requirement: Stone Curse 1, Study 5)

 

Earth Spike 1 (Requirement: Earth Spike 1)

 

Heaven's Drive (Requirement: Earth Spike 1, Earth Spike 3)

 

It charges separately for that Earth Spike 3.

 

On Edit: Also worthwhile to note that I don't actually seem to get Earth Spike 3, just Earth Spike 1. Heaven's Drive eats the other three points, and then you start to actually gain Heaven's Drive points.

You should probably post your current job level, the job level at which you changed from high mage to scholar, and screenshots of the expanded skill window for both first and second class skills.
