Most players are _not_ experiencing lag (except when there's a spammer on screen).
If your mouse lags while RO is lagging, something is lagging your computer. Otherwise, It's a problem with your ISP or a server on the route between you and RO.
Take a tracert to help pin down where the problem is, and try using lowerping (lowerping.com) to improve performance.

umm I went to lower ping and had 30 minutes of lag free, but now wont let me log server is there a free lower ping thing? and how can I reconect to server?. It says I gotta pay.

Just re-start the lowerping proxy when it DC's you (pull down menu for game and re-select ragnarok to start the proxy).
