This is the build I normally recommend for anyone who wants to play BM as tank (hybrid or full). As far as I know, Bear Form is still not giving a full 30% increase in damage, so I find it unnecessary, but it can be worked into the build pretty easily if you desire. Personally I feel our skills have enough power to let us stay in Grizzly Form forever, but Bear Form is nice for costumes .
The next stage of the game is entirely grinding, so getting 5 or 6 Tornado is what I would recommend (hits 7 and 10 targets respectively). 10 on Fury Strike too because it's overpowered and a very good secondary AOE skill. You actually get 10 points per target, up to 30 points, not 5 like the simulator says. Cruel Bite got a huge boost from before, so you'll likely see more action out of it than Survival. It's nice to have max Cruel Bite, but it is not totally necessary. Stuns are not totally necessary, but getting them won't harm you. During the grinding stages, you won't need to single target too much other than to heal with Cruel Bite, so I'd sacrifice the Rage Smash points and Wild Crush points to get other desired skills. Ymir Form is not needed as Grizzly because we can't use it, but optional for Bear Form for added DPS once in a while.
You could try something like this: http://ro2base.com/b...1.1.1/0.0.0.0.0
2 extra points to do whatever you want with. This build sacrifices single target damage for AOE damage. If you want Ymir, I recommend moving the 3 points from Frenzy, Charge, and Impact for it. If you want to keep stuns and get Ymir, then I would move points from Cruel Bite instead. You could buy a few skill points to get your desired Skill Tree, but I would usually save that for higher levels. As you grow stronger and decide to buy these points however, aim for maxed Cruel Bite Wild Crush first, to help your party on boss fights, then Rage Smash Cruel Bite/Survival to help yourself.
I don't want to force you to read too much, so I'll just say try to have fun with it, Beastmasters are really strong right now and hard to get wrong. Welcome back!
