Is the number, such as in fight 1 - 6, stat 1 - 6, totally random, or is it kind of level-up like thing (like need to go from 1 to 6)? Can you keep doing the enchant (like erase it) until you get a higher stat?

sadly its random, if you want a higher one you need to reset it and try again
