Hmm, this is quite confusing now since I've submitted an original drawing.  I placed a watermark over it because too many art thieves lately. @_@

The image included is not a sample, nor listed as such. It's a title banner for the event. Please reference the text:
 "If you can’t draw, heavily edited images created out of screenshots are acceptable" This is so anyone with effort can enter, not just those with drawing ability. If you have drawn something, as long as it is your own work, it qualifies.

[mod]We continue to get submissions that are stolen drawings from other artists. It is now more than half the entries. If you enter something that is stolen art, it will be hidden and you are auto-disqualified. You will not win anything, including the participation award. [/mod]

Cheating hurts the whole community, not just your chances of qualifying for this contest. If you want more RO2 drawing events on the forums, don't steal. These events are something we do to give players a chance to be creative and win prizes at the same time, but they don't have to exist. Keep that in mind when you waste everyone's time with cheating. You limit other chances to win things in the future.

Draw an NPC from RO2 in a costume. If you can’t draw, heavily edited images created out of screenshots are acceptable. The image can have a general Halloween theme to it so get creative!

 

 

If it's not a drawing(original work), or an edited screenshot, it doesn't follow the rules and is disqualified.

 

Additionally:

 

 

Once again, the use of other's artwork is not permitted in this contest. This is a non-negotiable rule and entries caught doing so will be removed and the poster will no longer be able to enter this contest.

 

I have a feeling that your background image probably falls under this rule ^

 

Also, modifying official game art isn't a screenshot or personally created drawing.

Is the character not that one on the screenshot?? Have you seen the loading screen of Master Je-Hoon is that graphic not from the game??? Hahaha, this is crazy really, Use of others artwork? which one? the ROYALTY FREE Background? C'mon now it ROYALTY FREE stuff not stolen, so much for HEAVILY EDITED you mean.

 

Also CM, you start a contest with very shallow rule, and now people send their entries, and you begin to expand the rule, elaborate the rule. Why didnt you do this beforehand?? Before players spend their time making an entry so they can enjoy this contest for an in-game item?

 

Really need some evaluation on your part, just let your players enjoy, if you want to put more rules, elaborate profound rules, DO IT RIGHT FROM THE START.

They haven't changed the rules since the event began. Just clarified things that people seem to have misunderstood and pointed out that art theft won't be tolerated (which should be a given anyway).

Reading is too hard for some people. It's only natural they would lash out at others who point out their shortcomings.

I'm going to leave some posts live and view-able as an example of what not to do.  If your entries are removed, it means you didn't follow the rules. Continually attempting to re-post will not change this fact.
You are disqualified if you can not submit either a drawing you've made or a screenshot you have edited. If it is is not literally from a screenshot you have taken in the game and made modifications to, it does not fit within the rules. Taking official artwork and editing it into things does not qualify. It is not from a screenshot or your own drawing.

This event is for both servers. Your prizes are sent to your Temporary Storage Box which is shared between both servers.
