Exactly! With the mystical pa iwriath stuff or whatever? They took what was a scientific explanation for religion which I found interesting, and made it magical. And they wrecked characters like dukat going insane and killing his daughter, kkilling jadzia, etc. They just got bored and wanted to wreck everything. A lot of shows do that their final season (like xena/hercules too)

 

Although I agree that Dukat going insane was the worst thing they could have done, they kind of had to kill off Jadzia. It was Terry who decided to leave DS9. I read an article in an issue of TV Guide (remember those?) where she said that she felt she needed to leave due to her age. She was in her mid-30's iirc, and there's not many lead rolls (or rolls with plenty of exposure) in TV for women much older than that. She had to move on while she still could. So the writers had to do something.

 

But one thing I'll never forget from that series. Does anyone remember the backlash that came from the show Roseanne? A lesbian kissed Roseanne, and there was a firestorm over that. Not long after, Terry had a kissing scene with her...er...his...uhm...widow?    I had taped it on VHS and watched it like 5 times in a row. lol I'm surprised I heard not a peep about that, considering what happened from Roseanne's show...

The show was only planned for 7 seasons (all star treks are, apparently). Leaving in the 11th hour on the 7th season for a selfish reason isn't really that respectable. And what has she done since? Just another TV series, Becker.

I never said her choice was a smart one, nor respectable. (What would have been the difference in one more season?) Just that the writers needed to do something to write off Jadzia. And iirc, she left Becker after only a few seasons, too.

Item doesn't even have a description, heals for like 50hp and drops at 1% rate or something ridiculous like that. My guess is they didn't want to bother making something useful out of it.

Saturday WoE time is fine. Nothing to change about that.

I think WoE1 should just be on the same day as WoE TE.

Sunday is the day that a lot of people have off. Also, since people are already doing WoE TE, it makes sense to me to have WoE1 type WoEs to be the same day. Keep it at 4-6 since it will be consistent from WoE on Saturday.
