More Admin Activity

Another place where the Admins could show some acknolwdgement is the proposal section. Frankly, if you actually read some of them, they do have a point and raises good questions about areas that could be improved. Therefore, perhaps some attention in those threads would be appreciated. Maybe like a "good points are being made here, will discuss or bring this up in our next meeting" or something would be nice.
Of course, I understand Dragon Saga isn't the only game you guys have to take care of. But I am just proposing that some attention or an increase in Admin activity would really show that you guys care for your games and its players.
If any Admin ever even read this, please consider and thank you.

I mean, yes, it would be nice, but it's better to realize which members of the community are technically adept and also willing to provide support, and direct questions to them.
You can wish for stuff, but also realize in practicality what you can do. The mods have enough problems getting their own stuff to work right.

Well, like I said, during the 2 testing phases we had, the mods were really good at giving answers and stuff, usually within 24 hours. But now that the game has been commercially launched, they seemed to have stopped. Just because we are not in "testing" anymore doesn't really mean there are no bugs or technical issues. The mods almost never provide technical support for the games.

Agree 100% With you.

Oh and not to mention that a lot of people are just plain retarded and instead of checking other threads with the same problem they have, they want to make another FAILED TO PATCH thread. So that really lowers the chances of admins actually seeing the right thread.
I agree with what Sera said. A lot of players are tech and content savvy, as a lot of questions can be directed at them. I personally had a lot of tech help from either my guildies or just random people who barely post in the forums.
Another thing about suggestions and proposals, again personally, some of the suggestions out there are clearly plain preposterous.

To me, this is one of the main reasons why when we do get any answers they are always either late or ignored.
The fact that people are stupid enough (there really is no other word to describe them) to not read the 100000+ posts with the exact same title of the one they're about to create is a major issue when it comes to getting any kind of support. If people where smart enough to realize there is already a post explaining their problems, that there is a "Vote this post up" button and that the more replies a topic will get the faster it will get noticed, that'd be half the way to solve everyone's problems.

I would agree for more admins on these forums too. In the patch thread, the mod did reply a few times, but everywhere else, the mods don't seem to partake in discussion. (It's more like here and there). If not all sections, at least the technical section, since that is needed the most. If a person can't run a game, a customer lost by not helping them with his or her problem.
And perhaps we don't need a lot of mods at all. These forums aren't as active as other game forums out there nor do people post topics that go into lengthy, good discussions.

Some people aren't stupid. For some people, this is their first RPG game and first experience for using the forums. It's just a problem in every kind of forums. Calling them stupid isn't going to solve the problem.
No, but 90% of the people out here opening repetitive posts are acting out of laziness and stupidity. I mean, just with this last problem, the Korean error, notice how many people opened threads, and insisted in bumping them over and over, or those who just decided to post about it anywhere they could, instead of going to the technical support section and just reading the titles of the threads already posted to realize they weren't the only ones going through that. Tons of people posted in those earlier threads explaining others how to fix it and even today a lot of people won't even bother looking thought a couple of posts to find what they need. That is not an act of someone who's just adapting to using a forum or a game.
But this is just me, feel free to disagree.
And about getting more admins, I agree, in a way. Though I think it would be better if we had some admins selected to deal with the public in a daily basis, instead of the way it is now, of having several admins deal with things occasionally.
