ALT+S not working

So for some reason a while back (prerenewal), my ALT+S (skill window) hotkey stopped working. my ALT+A (the old status window) stopped working too. So pre-renewal i tried reinstalling, and it didnt fix it. Post renewal then, I installed the new client, still not working. So today, I uninstalled RO, reinstalled again, and had no luck. So, again I uninstalled, and went through the registry searching for every version of Ragnarok I could find and deleted it, and then reinstalled, and still had no luck. Anyone have any ideas? or seen this before? maybe I missed a registry key?

I don't know why your Alt-S key isn't working, but in Renewal the stat and equip windows were merged and both are opened with the Alt-Q key.
This.
There's also some driver that was recently released which co-opts alt+s, and breaks every other application that relies on that shortcut. It seems likely, since those shortcuts broke pre-renewal, that you installed a driver or other program which is hooking into those keystrokes and preventing them from reaching RO. Luckilly, in renewal, you don't have to worry!
Click the Options button (or press escape until that menu comes up), then click shortcut configuration, then interface, and you can change the hotkeys used for all the windows in RO!

Please start a new thread and fully explain the problem you are having, because I have no idea what it is.
The "problem" in this thread was, I believe, purely a misunderstanding regarding the controls in renewal, because back in 2010 when renewal first hit, people were not used to the interface changes.
In the future, if you cannot find any relevant threads from the past couple of months, please start a new thread instead of necro'ing an old one. As the game receives updates the information in old threads becomes obsolete, inaccurate, and confusing.
