I must have killed 200-300 before realizing I was not getting any exp from them....... the quest still shows 0/30. Where do I get my time back and my lost exp?
I used about 150 Aloe's as well. All lost.....

how did you not realize your counts weren't changing until 300 kills in?
He said he didn't realize he wasn't gaining exp then, and that he discovered at that point that he hadn't been getting killcount.
If you're there planning to keep killing after getting the count, I could imagine not noticing that I wasn't getting counts, and being surprised to find that I was at 0/30 instead of 30/30.

Where were you killing them?
There are two kinds of roweens - the ones that get summoned by the galions will get distracted, and start acting independently of their boss. These do not give exp or killcounts. If you were on one of the galion maps, they have no normal roweens - all the roweens there are the summoned ones.
This is exactly what happened. I was getting exp so I didn't pay too much attention to the kill count of the quest. I had that turned off, So I can see guild chat. Anyway, it was the Atroce map with the Gallions.

1 map east of Rachel is the best place to hunt Roween now. They increased the spawn there.
