So Oda said that we might be getting 50 new cards. A quick Google search gave me the following results. I'm not sure which card will be implemented, but what do you guys think is the best card for your class? Why?

None of those cards really inspire me to shop anything new; mostly because the interesting ones go in a slot I won't consider using them, like garment.

Also I love how the gypsy mvp card obsoletes an entire job.

Generally gears that give a spell don't cancel on swapping. For example the false orc hero hat which gives weapon perfection.

Also the guard thing could be super useful on anything that uses a shield then. 14% chance to randomly block stuff for 5 minutes is baller.

You also need a whip or instrument to even cast the skills. So pretty useless cards.

Some of that stuff looks too new for the next update, but I'm not sure where else we could get that many cards from.

 

Let's hope we get the second half of the last batch of cards, the ones we still haven't gotten yet - with the baylan 5 and malangdo monsters and stuff. I've had a hat ready and waiting for Siorava card for so long!

 

Only the clown MVP card lets you use strings, not the normal one. You do know that the strings will suck, right, because it doesn't give you music lessons? The strings will be like linked gypsy strings, and it won't effect the user either...

I'm hoping the Siroava gets added so brewers can get more luk and whatnot. We were told 50 new cards, and I counted 48 so heres hoping.

Basically this, the interesting ones go into garment which makes me a sad panda. Maybe Mangkukulam for the AB if I don't need an elemental armor. idk really, don't need sp D:

 

The Soheaon seems REALLY nice for a crit dagger GX tho.

Oh Jaye, quit being such a dinosaur. The game is evolving, and we need to learn to adapt to the changes. It's kinda boring seeing Deviling, Raydric, and Noxious in every garment for years and years. Variety is the spice of life.

Maybe I'm the only one seeing the potential of 50% elemental reduction to nearly every element. With a Nyd Mant, MvP card, and x2 KBC/Glorious Rings, that's 77% elemental reduction from almost every element at the same time, all while leaving you the flexibility of going with a two handed weapon if you so choose.

That much elemental reduction isn't great though....what are you fighting that's using all those ele attacks - and also has no need for neutral resist? The only thing I can think it would be good for is FBH, and it wont work there...it amplifies holy damage to you.

some of these cards might make sense for Genes with a Sera. or if they are in a party with AB that constantly cast Kel.

I was thinking more the lines of a pvp scenario where you're dueling say a GX with access to multiple elemental converters. You could reduce his damage by 77%, and if he goes Holy, it's telegraphed, so you can swap it out for another garment.

I am pretty sure when song/dance is enabled by an effect you can use it regardless of weapon type, just like enabling double attack on any weapon does. The soul link enables dancer to cast magic strings, but doesn't require a guitar to do so, when used by dancer.

Hmm.  Depends if the argument has "equipinstrument" or not I'm thinking.  If it does, that sucks. But I dont  think a card creates those arguments, as you say with double attack.  Or is it possible to double attack with chick hat on fisting monsters only?
