Recently started playing RO for the first time and made a thief
I am not sure whether to make an assassin or rogue and their builds
Now this is my first time playing RO with no funding or people to help me at all
I was thinking about going assassin and I've done my research on stats but since I am not funded I am not sure which job is the best.
Some of my questions:
1) I heard rogues are better at making money because of Gank, is there a difference between a money-making rogue and a normal rogue? what I mean is... do money-making rogues plan on advancing to stalkers? would they have different stat/skill builds?
2) If I went with assassin, would it be difficult to level/job advance without funding?
3) main difference between assassin vs. rogue other than having the skill gank for rogues (example: better with PvP, skill based, auto-attack based, etc.)
These are some questions that I had trouble finding since I have no clue on prices of some of the equipments that are necessarily for assassins//rogues
Thanks for taking the time to read/comment on this!

First time playing RO, assassins are much easier to play than rogues. With loot, gank doesn't make that big a difference in my opinion unless you have an establish high aspd lvl 9x Rogue. I would just make an assassin and get to glt x asap. The sooner your 3rd class the sooner you can hunt things like elven bows and carga mace ((those can be hunted around 9x I think))

Is it because assassins are much stronger?
I know there's a crit and hybrid build for assassin, which do you recommend for a newbie like me?
BTW thanks a bunch for the quick advice
