it seems that the majority of the Malaya mobs were created with trolling players in mind. you got these innocent looking porings wearing baseball caps that can flatten you with a skill they have no business possessing, and a couple other mobs cast pretty high level agi down on you. still others can't be outrun anyway (and are likely demon so hiding is out of the question).
I've only experienced Malaya for a few days but that's what I've gotten out of it so far. The town is also nearly einbroch-level annoying as far as getting around is concerned, although you can at least tele.

I wasn't expecting to need elemental armor/mdef for things nearly 60 levels below my char though D:
I mean, I can easily one shot them anyway; I was just trying to steal from them to get more jejellopies and complete the daily faster when one took extreme offense to being robbed.

I once seen a 175 sura who did not know what it was, smack one, and with only a little HP left, got water balled to death. I cried happy tears.

^ Are the Malaya Quests exp rewards affected by VIP status and manuals?
Yes, they are meant to be annoying.
Seems to be like that. Fortunately, Jejemons of Port Malaya are cute Porings.

that's why Malaya town = troll town

yes. with the VIP event (only good for two more days!), you can get 1 mil base/job per turn in with bmx3 and VIP. There are 10 dailies iirc, although you need to run around a bit to get them all (3 quest starters are in the fields).

oh well, it's not that big a deal since I am nearly 60 levels higher than they are. I guess one can think of this as a PSA for the more level appropriate folks, and also note the tongue-in-cheek humor of the kRO dev team.

Jejemons came after Jijimon. Jijimon aired in the Philippines at around 2000 the jeje trend came at around 2006-onwards I guess. The "jeje" part of jejemons were coined from their characteristic laugh of "jeje" subsituting for "hehe" (depending on the context j sounds like h). Also, that's not my picture. It's just a random jeje picture I got from google search.

Basically some guys thought it was cool to use ajejejejejejejeje to laugh in texts or online messages, and then they made it a bit fancier with varying caps, like aJeJeJeJejejejeJe. And then they added some punctuations to it, as well as words that have been played around with to make it look allegedly cute, such as aJeJejEjEjEJe,,, p0uhz (supposed to be po, which is a Filipino term used to sound respectful).
Eventually, the online community got fed up with this growing hipster culture that a term was coined after their signature online laugh and Digimon -- hence Jejemon... or jEjEm0n... whatever.
Another example:
,,h3Y m!s$,,,, I tHinK u R s0uh QT p0uHz,,, c4n i Hv uR nUmbEr pLz,,,, LuV<3, dH0n $tR!k3r 69,,

Gah! Reading that phrase hurts my eyes! Burn it with fire please! D:
Hmm... Whoever had invented that, (cancerous, painful literacy in the eyes), signature is freaking lazy to type. They must die! D:<
Edit: The reason I edited my message was due to a lot of grammatical errors.

For a normal person, trying to construct such a sentence is much more painful than reading it.

Imagine jejemons typing that stuff blazingly fast. Which is sort of amazing in its own way.
