Hello Roserians,
We have news that may affect you, so please take the time to read the following updates to the Support policy changes in regards to Trade Restrictions, when submitting a ticket for assistance with restricted items.
The following change to policy is currently being rolled out to our Support Team Personnel and will be in full strict effect, starting August 1, 2015.
Locked Items
- Items that are "Locked on acquire" from a trade/vend or removing from storage, will be reviewed on a case by case basis, and moved by the support team to the intended character so long as the character is within the accounts associated to the player's WarpPortal account.
- Items that are "Locked on equip" will no longer be supported with a restriction release. You are given a warning and confirmation pop-up to equipping the item, which confirms taking ownership of the item.
Bound Items
- Any item that is restricted by being "bound" will no longer be supported with a restriction release. These items have been provided with the flexibility of an obtainable in-game item that can release the "bound" status, allowing it to be tradable once again. Because of this, we are placing the responsibility on you , the player, to release any "bound" restrictions, whether it is a mistake or not.
Why is this being done?
A recent increase in support tickets came to our attention that many requests for support with item trade restrictions revealed that many have been taking advantage of the support's generosity and intent to assist with the Trade Restriction mechanic changes in-game when we first began the slow roll out, nearly 1 year ago.
Requesting for items that were not necessarily the main concern or were even available at the time of the changes, to help ease the transition with. That being said, the date this policy change will be going in to full and strict effect, will be over 1 years' time since these changes have been part of standard game play and will continue to be.
