What has higher charm between the 2?

They are both the same actually. The only difference is B7 is 5%+10 and substat is 30.

that 5% is based on your base stat so if you don't have 400 cha, it will not give 30 cha in your stats.

 

Best go with 30 cha substat cuz you can also mix with other stats that would help.

Yes, go with CHA 30 substats, if you have an artisan, and a stack of leprechaun boxes, it would be much cheaper than buying Beryls.

 

Go with Beryl if you're filthy rich and just want that four-leaf clover gem glow.

Beryl 7 will never be better than charm30 substat.

 

It might have same bonus IF you are MAX charm, otherwise, will be worse.

 

 

Example:

 

with 200 charm = Beryl 7 = 5%(200)+10 = 10+10 = 20 charm

with 300 charm = Beryl 7 = 5%(300)+10 = 15+10 = 25 charm

 

even with 380 charm = Beryl 7 = 5%(380)+10 = 19+10 = 29 charm

 

The only way beryl7 can reach 30charm is with 400 charm = Beryl 7 = 5%(400)+10 = 20+10 = 30 charm

 

And with substat, you have the chance to add an extra substat, like defense,mvspd,etc

 

 

Cheaper??..dont know, specially for unique items, where unique 30charm substat is like 500m+, and if you add the imbue scroll, would be at least 650m.(the good thing about this is that you can FARM this -unique grade items + imbue scroll with valor points, while you cant craft youself a beryl7 if you dont have a crafter -yes, you can farm the mats, but cant craft the bery7)

Stat is always my choice as it's way better than B7 alone.

[Buff Slaves] If you have the clan passive for CHA, Beryl is slightly better for a max CHA figure as it adds to the base. Much like DEX/ STR/ CON/ SEN/ INT passives apply to the base on some classes.

Beryl7 is just fine if its just for buffgears.
