Guys, I don't know how many of you already know about this but I just heard of it (not an USA citizen, after all) and I felt like I MUST spread the word. I usually don't do things like this, but this is really important!!
Apparently there is a law that is trying to get past the congress. This law aims to change ALL copyright laws that exist today and make it so that any big company can use any piece of art that catches their eyes for their own goals WITHOUT crediting the artist or asking for permission or give them money in return. And it is worded in a way that should affect EVERYONE around the whole globe, not just artists from the USA. This video here explains everything:
Honestly, I don't know what we can do about it. As a European, I guess my only option is to spread the word in international places such as this. Heck, I don't even know if it will ever affect me, because I am only a casual, a hobbyist and not someone who makes a living of it. But this is disgusting, what they are trying to do!
