I don't agree at all.
We had teams back in the day. You recruited people, got to know them, added them to your friend list for future parties. They learned what the rules were for your party and got the ropes -- or they got blacklisted from future parties with your group.
Now? Its an endless stream of anons, they don't care if they get kicked, another party will start up in a few mins.
Enter to the equation how easy the ti are (they are basically fish in a barrel) and the ability to basically leech (lets be real, 70%+ of the people in any given party don't really need to be there). This causes a perpetual disinterest in the party being efficient or competent. Face it, you can fumble your way to 150 with the gramps system.
But ask yourself, when doing harder stuff like endless tower, do you pick up random adds and let them do whatever they want? No, you wouldn't get very far.
Bio labs is the closest we got right now to this quality party dynamic, so replacing 150+ leveling with more gramps should be apparently obvious to be a bad idea.
