An unofficial Facebook group

I was doing some skimming through the knowledge base and couldn't find any info for this, so I thought I'd ask here.
Would it be allowed to make and advertise (both here and in-game) a player-run Facebook group for Dragon Saga? I'm looking to make one, and just wanted to make sure it was allowed.
I am part of the administrator team for a group of nearly sixteen thousand members for another MMORPG, and watching the group members give advice and look for teams together is always the highlight of my Internet browsing, and thought it would be cool to bring to our game.
If it actually becomes reality, all of the warpportal terms of service will apply to the group, possibly with the only exception being the use of foul language.(it is facebook after all) it will be stated that it is in no way affiliated with the WP staff.

AFAIK there won't be a problem in creating and advertising a Facebook group or forum or whatever that is player-run. Otherwise kinda guild homepages or something like that wouldn't be allowed too because they're a) player-run and mostly based on in-game advertisement
Also you can always see your Facebook group as a fan site or fan page and who doesn't like fans?
with this in mind

There should be no problem creating a facebook group as long as you don't cause any "harm" to WarpPortal, Gravity Games or one of their trademarks.
But to be sure I can get more infos for you by speaking directly to the producer about that if you want.
Due to the long maintenance I have a chance to talk to the producer later today (it will be afternoon corresponding to the server time).

Thank you, I'd really appreciate that! My intention would be to get players more involved to help each other, etc, and have a place besides the game to chat about it. (I'm on a mobile device here at work, and I'll be honest, the mobile version of the forums aren't as convenient as I'd like them to be!) Maybe even host some events as a group! There should be no problem creating a facebook group as long as you don't cause any "harm" to WarpPortal, Gravity Games or one of their trademarks.

PS: I've been chuckling at that gif since it was posted!

Creating a fan group is certainly welcome and encouraged!
Some of our other game titles have groups made by fans with big member numbers. It is a good place to communicate and meet new people. As long as it isn't posing as official or closed group with RMT, we're happy to see them happen. If you make one, please let us know!

I plan to make it a closed group, simply to prevent RWT/RMT from happening. Same thing the admin team does in the group I work with, we take a quick look at people's profiles before accepting them to make sure they're not an account created specifically for malicious reasons. Any discussion of the sort results in an instant ban.Creating a fan group is certainly welcome and encouraged!

From observing the groups on some of our other games, it seems that RMT posts are more likely to happen on a closed group since they think it means they are less likely to be caught (which isn't the case at all in reality.) Either way you will be able to kick people out if they start posting it, be it a closed or open group.

An open group may reach more people than a closed one... You should take this into consideration

Hey again! I just noticed that open groups still require approval to join. It will most certainly be open in that case. I do have one question before I make it. My artistic capabilities can be beaten by my dog. Am I able to use official artwork for the group's cover photo?
I hope that CM Maridah will step in here to answer your question, because I sadly can't.

Below are the rules for the group that I currently administrate. We have them as clear as we can to avoid confusion. I blocked out the name of the game and company.
If there are a few you like, feel free to add them. You should also state that use of third party software will result in a ban. Thanks for accepting me.

First rule: don't discuss other games. Giveaway: other game.
I was about to point it out. Well done.

ManItsMike: You should have another look over your picture. It still has one clearly visible name in it.

It might have been intentional, or maybe you couldn't do it another way, but...
Here. I believe it would look better that way.

My apologies, friendos. I was rinning on fumes, 26 hours awake after a 12 hour shift. Re-edited it. Poppy, are you able to remove that one image and unhide it?
Done. You can update your post
I just removed the one image.

No need to apologize that often. Such things can happen - we all are only humans. It's no problem.
