So people don't have to make a new GX to be able to do Crit Dual Dagger builds.

No other class is PENALIZED for getting job 50 as thiefs. GXs are PENALIZED if they want to do a certain build because of the way the thief class skills weren't balanced for today's gears when the skills were created.

It only seems fair.

My point is that no other build in the game is penalized for reaching job 50 as a first class. Do you have to be so infuriating when you comment on something?

Tell me what is balanced about prohibiting someone from playing a certain character build because they did one thing that everyone tells you to do when you're a newb. It doesn't seem exactly fair to me.

reason why DD crit build is an advanced build coz it takes time to observe your class hidden potential before actually building it. it is very fair if thief suffer to limit themselves on job levels in terms to unlock that 'easter egg'.
you stuck? just remake your gx, leveling is easy

Doesn't matter how easy it is, takes time I want to be using elsewhere.

And the whole Easter Egg thing sounds like elitist bull-_-, no offense.

And I fail to see how this justifies that GX is the only class that faces this dilemna. 

Plus it seems like kind of a gut jab. "Oh look you've spent all this work on a GX, did you know DD Crit does more damage? Too bad you can't do it now unless you spend all that work on another GX just because."

I'm not talking about me or my money I'm talking about double attack interfering with a build for a class that happens to be the only class that suffers from this issue. If other classes had issues like this I wouldn't have made a suggestion, but GXs are the only class that have this problem. *Continues to hit that point home*

Also i decided to have both kind coz u never know in future updates they will have something better than dd crit build. And make katar build even better. So yah

I have 5 GX, pure RC CRS, Pure CI, Pure Crit Katar, Pure DD crit and Pure SD all of them are 150'sh, so leveling isn't hard and yup I have a job so I have limited time grinding these assassins.

Your DD crit might deal higher dmg, but in return your katar dmg will suck due to absence of katar mastery 

 

DD DA might be slightly lower dmg than DD crit, but in return your katar dmg will be in its full power 

 

 

most of us GX lovers create multiple gxes for multiples builds so we dont have to reset each time we are not satisfied with each builds

If you want you can try a gimped build with sword main-hand. You won't trigger DA and you don't need Drake for larger enemies.

Downside is the ASPD penalty. You'll lose a HELL LOTS of ASPD. Though it's a possible future build for GX.

I could only see the sword possible with some INSANE ASPD gears, and I mean INSANE cause GXs get hit with a HARD penalty for swords.

I find that part more confusing than having a dozen GXs (gotta build your own harem somehow.)

Dual wielding sword is weird, if you put it in your left hand it's only -2 aspd. If you put it in your right hand then it's a much bigger penalty.

 

This, combined with the fact that when swapping from a two handed weapon like katar to daggers the first goes on to your left hand has led me to believe all GXs are left handed and we are forcing the poor bums to use their right hands -- like particularly stringent catholic school teachers.

This thread is funny because I made exactly the same error, after following the general advice and irowiki saying to ALWAYS change at job 50.

 

Katar crit isn't that good and I'm dreading to think about having to do all those levels again, especially the final 25.
