Could anyone link me to the official thread for the USRC just passed (the one with all the fighting RE DQ in it)? I don't know if I'm blind or if it's been removed or what, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Not here, not the archives, not the community events section, nowhere @_@

There will be no USRC this year (this has been asked to Oda recently).

pRO and Classic take priority at the moment, it seems.

We are not doing USRC as we've done it in years past but we will be having Team PVP tournament(s) this year, in part due to the large number of things that we've been working on during the summertime and no longer needing to tie USRC in to RWC. 

 

The plan is to split our normal USRC tournament into two Saturdays in late September. A single elimination Qualifying Match and a USRC: Fall Brawl double elimination tournament with the finalists from the Qualifying Match the next Saturday.

 

Campitor's has already started working on scripting out a practice room that will allow guild leaders to book rooms without having to worry about getting interfered with. We should have the team registration website live around the first of September.

Will it be on sakray still? And will it have rewards like usrc did?

Yes, it will be taking place on Sakray, and there will be rewards.  For this tournament we'll likely be doing prizes similar to last years' USRC but we have some plans for future tournament prizes...

Oda had it wrong there would be three weekends.

1st Weekend - AM Qualifiers - Open Registration
2nd Weekend - PM Qualifiers - Open Registration

3rd Weekend - Finals top 8(or 4 it hasn't been decided) teams each from the two qualifiers for prizes.

We all know iRO always chooses to take the last place because we are kind people. This is why I play iRO, many kind and humble world-class pro players   

 

I am looking forward to seeing the matches. So many strong iRO players will gather ... scary

These are always scheduled so bad for me. Finally an am+pm...and it's on my birthday weekend. RIP Another year of watching the matches after the fact.

Curious to see how many teams sign up though since we have a lot of newcomers from pRO, should be fun.
