Pirate Arrrrt Contest!

Avast ye mateys!  There be an art contest on the horizon.   

 

From Sept. 9^th to the 16^th we will be searching the high seas for some creative Pirate themed art to celebrate our fun Pirate adventures in game!

Five lucky winners will be featured in the Ragnarok Online 2 loading screen, but fear not. Even if you don't win, for just sharing your extraordinary talent we will be giving away 5 phantom stone per player.   

 

Rules that apply: 

1. Must be pirate themed or high seas themed. 

2. Must be a part of the Ragnark Online 2 Universe.

3. Must be original art by the artist.  Cannot be a screenshot or someone else's art.

 4. Can be in various mediums however the final submission will need to be digital. So if you are doing an acrylic painting please scan it and post.  

6. Formats for the art need to be in either DDS, PSD, or Jpeg.

7. They must also be 1920 x 1080 px.  If they are larger they will get cropped or resized.

8. You may post your submission on the forums or if you are feeling shy you may send them to cmvaritas@gmail.com but make sure that the subject line reads "Pirate Art Contest 2015" and your forum name. 

 

Once the submissions have come in and the contest closes, we will go ahead and create a form so that everyone may vote.  That's it!

Happy Hour Boxes drop four times a day:

14:00-15:00

Players have a chance to get an additional box drop during this time by farming monsters within a five level range of the player that will randomly pop out a useful item.

Why is August Happy Hour, where is the September Happy Hour?

No more change. Thailand player have a good green seed rune, good blue seed rune, good red seed rune, and lv4 vadon, lv4 elder,lv4 summons monster, and more good item.
We are just only have terrible success rate and drop rate.

please make some event like royal casino for a month on both servers then full zeny wipe to fix broken economy (atleast on freyja lol)

and make non storable in storage items like Divine Protection or gold hammer\menu\sign storable for a god sake

Card / Pets / broken Wonderland... those should have been prioritized rather than events of drawing and stuff.. ML40 players are losing things to do except FARM super low drop Ancient Warrior stuff on LIZARDS.. which is pretty damn boring if you ask me.. though I farmed them a lot too.. but then again, HHB like that wont cut it when it comes to winning back High lvl people, maybe for lowbies those HHB will matter much.. Please RO2 stop putting up community events that most gamers dont give a damn about  and fix the game as a whole..

We don't really have a decent way to obtain zeny at the moment. Mostly by selling things to other players (which we wont be able to do, when people have no zeny bc wipe). Wiping zeny would not fix the economy, because where would we be able to re-obtain it? Though I do agree with Freyjas enonomy needing help, but I don't think this will help very well like you think it might. Maybe if we had an easier way to obtain zeny but other than that..

While being able to solve some of these problems by knowing who has the +9 cards, making the ability to see pets won't help us much. While having maxed level 4-5 pets is...highly improbable, we have no proof that it is illegal(game-wise). Where as with +9 Cards, it is for sure illegal.

Cheater should be banned, but one don't conclude that all people from "_s" guild are cheater and already have cheat all aspect to the max. Thank you.

It won't hurt much now and at least decrease prices for about 4-12 months or so

for example you can npc items from condors now for 100 rupee (200 w\ merchants volubilities) or gears from old dungeons
Some mins of farming would be pretty enough to survive first weeks
Or these zeny bags from hhb\pandora boxes lol

It`s different.

I don`t see a reason to give people limits like these.

Or at least you should remove the repair thing so we can save the zeny.

The cost of repairs in LoS weren`t that high like with the gear you have now.

So at least you could make this 1 zeny per master gear or 500 rupee,it would help a LOT already.

Instead of making things right,unfortunately innocent players have to suffer where cheaters are still doing what they want.

Yes but now, isn't pre-aov. There are a lot of changes, as many can agree with, since pre-aov and things are costlier as they take a good deal of time to acquire. As well as before they changed the gear prices, you could farm at mukas or condors and get actual zeny, not just rupee. Plus I don't know about you, but it will take a long time for me to get zeny bags from pandoras, if I have to farm the amount needed for the mallet. And if you're saying to wipe after the month, most of the hhb might be used. And you can't very well buy them from someone with little to no zeny. I'm not arguing with you, the economy isn't the best. But might need to think of other ways of going about it. Thanks for the ideas though.

We've reported that the September HHB lacks name/description. It seems like it was a minor mistake that can be resolved on Monday.

 

As far as the argument that we should forego events or drawing contests for bug fixes, those are two separate areas. Our Community Managers typically create the events while Gravity developers are responsible for the bug fixes and other in-game content. There isn't an issue of focusing time on one and not the other, if that makes sense, since they are separate people working on these. If it doesn't, let me know, or you're always free to PM me, skype me, or tweet me.
