Another thing to note is pre-nerf did not have atkspd as a major factor as it does now as x-spam was not an issue.  If the atkspd buff/chain combo did not exist, then I would definitely say Dragoon would be above the twin and summoner.  Summoner would probably also drop a few ranks because of smart shot not being a factor anymore.

Uhh, Attackspeed has always been achievable up to 250%+ ever since Socket cards were introduced, it just wasn't considered a factor(except to Invokers) in pvp because elements weren't around so people would rather stack CR/CD over the ATKSPD slots.

The reason why atkspeed became useful is because of chain combo.  It didn't affect ur x attack speed.  Try turning off your chain combo, that should show you why atkspeed was useless and a non-issue before chain combo came out.  It only affected the x spam of invokers because certain abilities were made to be modified by atkspeed.

. Anyway attackspeed wasn't useless even before Chain Combos it just wasn't optimal compared to unlimited Cr/Cd stats that shared the same slots that Atkspeed does.

that's not from atkspeed, but from glitching

You could bug the game to cancel the animation so no atkspeed needed to be built to pew pew

Certain classes are better off sacrificing some attack speed right now.

So I kinda lazily made this, would be great to have comments and what you think the match up would be, especially from people that specialize in certain characters.

https://docs.google....dit?usp=sharing

Things to note when deciding and making a decision and commenting:

1. Ease of Use

2. DPS

3. Number of Useful Skills

4. OP Skills

5. No Rules

6. 1v1

Oh man.

Well i think we can agree that Invo, Twin, Summy are the top tier classes.

Destroyer is a good counter against Sentinel, but Sentinel itself is better than Destro in general and against other classes because you got more catshing skills and if you land a stun you can even deal more dmg than Destro.

After Sentinel comes Destro in my opinion at the tier list.

Then Savage if played unfair.

Ninja and Destro are also pretty much at the same level. Even tho if a DK is a good counter against Ninja if played unfair with imp i would suggest to put Ninja over DK at the list. Ninjas are better in fighting archer classes and top tier classes than DKs in my opinion.

DK over Overlord.

Overlord over Sorcerer. Here again the same problem. Sorcerer might be a good counter against OL itself, but its crappy against all the other classes.

Enjoy~

So-

Top:

-Invo
-Twin
-Summoner

Mid:

-Sentinel
-Destro
-Savage

Lower Mid;

-Ninja
-DK
-Overlord

Bottom:

-Sorcerer

I divided it into 4 groups. I think that more exactly. The Mid-Tiers can compete good with each other. Top-Tier classes will mostly win against the others (even tho i found a cool new way to counter GhostFighter with Ninja).

The Low-Tier class mostly wont win against the others.

The gap between the upper mid classes isnt high. They are almost at the same level.

Same goes for lower Mid in my opinion.

Sure everyone got his own view of the tier list based on the experience he gained from pvp matches.

Unsure with DK tho. Has been a while since i fought the un-nerfed.. but even nerfed they was quite painfull.

1. Savage is a poor group PvP class; spamming Headspin may be easy but it lacks damage necessary to get your kills unless you're fighting opponents that aren't geared, and any other comboing requires stunlocks that can easily be broken by enemy teammates.

2. Sentinel outshines Destroyer in group PvP due to traps and Netbind.

3. Sorceror is actually a better group PvP class than almost any other human class except Invoker due to Slow Heal and its crowd control capabilities. It won't necessarily be your team's killer, but will help your team sustain itself.

4. Overlord really isn't too bad for group PvP; Stumble, now that it has 100% stun again, gives them pretty decent crowd control and they also have very short, high dps combos.

Group PvP is essentially ground-locking for dps endgame. So Savage is essentially an upper tier (Not highest tier) pick for group. Cossack Dance doing stun on hit for every hit, Rocket Punch, Hell Shouting, Final Decision, Electric Flinch forcing canceled super armor and preventing counter skills, very low cooldowns. You got yourself a guy who can make a single target immobile for a while.

I think my coffee has more sugar than yours.

First of all the thread was 1 vs 1 PVP. Making all your comments irrelevant. My comment was for that in a 1 to 1 pvp scenario.

1) Group or no groups, savage are 1 of the characters who can lawn your garden 1vs 1 or groups. Only 3 pvp classes can actually claim victory against a savage, twin, priest and summoners, the rest are toast.

2) Sentinels has never been able to outshine the destroyers, best archers I have ever seen sakuraz and chartemis, both destroyers.

3)Sorceror are ok in group, but they also die quickly.

4) Overlord in a group are not that effective, trust me I like overlords but as a pve character, not PVP.

I would agree with 1, 2, well 4 is 50/50 they are good but anyways nr 3. Have you ever seen a real sorceror? their tankiness when fully stacked is beyond ridiculous so I dont know from where you got that they die quickly.

You have never played an Overlord like it would be your life haha, Overlord is actually not that bad in PvP but have you ever seen a "good" Overlord??. There are not many Overlords and sure lots of them only know the basic combos and can't do much against lots of other classes but if you know how to work with your Overlord you can catch up with other classes. Even a savage is not that much of a problem as Overlord since you can use a well placed stumblebum or the chaincombo flinch to get rid of their dances and remove the super armor with the chaincombo flinch(this requires a bit of Attackspeed).

1v1 or group PvP i wouldn't say Overlord is alone on the bottom of the list they may even be in the mid tier if you can play them well. You can get various sets for your Overlord you can focus full on attackspeed to run around the enemy and catch with the bears or you can go full attackspeed and try to catch with the xxzz chaincombo and also "dash" around with the xxzzx chaincombo or you just go full tank Overlord all focused on the Defence and just wait till the enemy makes a move on you dodges and catches him with a wyvern blade for example .Besides that they can never catch up with a Twin, Invoker or Earth Master because they lack the dps.

4. Overlord really isn't too bad for group PvP; Stumble, now that it has 100% stun again, gives them pretty decent crowd control and they also have very short, high dps combos.

Sure they may got a high burst dps in the lower level PvP without PoS but if you have to fight the resistence and defence stacked guys in 81+ PvP you will see that your damage is a minimum because of the high Cooldown you got on nearly every skill.

Alright here's my opinion, destroyers don't outshine sentinels, archers > thief classes 1v1, sorcerers DO NOT die easily, overlords CAN be effective in groups assuming they don't launch or use their launches to save team mates or hit frozen enemies. :3

This is coming from the guy who has played this game for over 6 years, was once considered 1 of the top dragoons on this server and currently the best end game sentinel in this server :3

You're right on this. Not just the normal X spam classes, any class that incorporates various chain combos into their skills can pull off the combos with lower numbers. Overlords for example can do the x spam trick with much lower AS and 0 carpal tunnel.

Idk what you're talking about. My endgame Overlord kills stacked players in just a couple skills; maybe you just need more element attack? (:

idk what you are doing but how are you supposed to kill guys who recieve no element damage because they stacked enough resistence????

ofc i know you can reach 8k+ element attack as Overlord but in the 81+ PvP element attack is not worth it, better focus on resistence and critical damage, because with the PoS set you can reach element resistence high enough that the element damage does nothing to you

Oh yes your overlord is probably more stacked than my ol ever was before I tossed my gear with over 100k Patk and 10k Ele atk. Tell me more on how you can kill a 150k Hp player that negates all elements to 0.

Not to mention players can get over 450,000 Hp in battle square.

Note:this is not player skill but flat damage output. On an afk character.
