What should I do first?
- You should create a character then roam izlude for in-game guides
Also, how difficult is this game to get the hang of?
The game is easy to get a hang of it. The controls are also not that hard to learn.
Anything I should know before going in?

The community is full of drama queens and trolls, but we are generally helpful to new players.
Forums =/= in-game community. Most RO players don't even visit the forums.

Hey DarkLordKaiban. I'm not sure how to add friends on RO (I just started in Chaos server if that makes a difference). My ingame name is Sorrendragon. Mind if I add you and we'll be lost newbies together?

All I meant to say with my comment is that the in-game community is different from the forum community so you should never use one to judge the other. You can ask wherever you feel comfortable, but questions are answered more thoroughly on the forums. So if you just want to know where things are, feel free to ask in-game or the forums. But if you're looking for something that would need a detailed explanation like refinement calculations or how to get through a quest, you're better off asking in the forums.
