I almost exclusively party because soloing is boring as ****. I dodnt know it was worthless to do this I apologize to OP for my indesgressions.
That's fine, don't apologise. Sorry likewise for my blunt wording!
Like you, I am absolutely all for partying. My best experiences come from it, and it's the best way to really show off a class.
It mostly comes from my frustration and disappointment to how anti-partying the mechanics and community were. The lack of incentives I could understand, but a degree of impatience is definitely noticeable — particularly through the act of dual-accounting, I believe. The push to do things solo is so pervasive, in fact, that a lot of class guides dating back to 2004 tend to point out how positive and viable some are.
Granted, this isn't anything exclusive to iRO, or MMORPGs in general. Even players in Destiny will find ways to fulfil difficult missions by themselves, regardless of how team-orientated they are.
Nonetheless, from what you guys have said, partying sounds good up to late levels.
Which is pretty interesting! Since previously I heard it was the reverse. Many level solo until they are high enough that teams are unquestionably necessary for MVPs and dungeons. Thanks for the input!
