I'm wondering which one is better to max?

usefulness of assum depends on the instances but personally i'd go AA for more healz and versatility.

Both skills are essential on end game so why you can't max both? It will be more clear if you tell your current skill build or if you already purchase Dapara skill points (I pick none until master level but then maxed both skills on Dapara, because both of them are not useful until DWL/DWU)

 

There is no need to maximize any healing skills outside Renovatio, Even in Jawai only High Heal that frequently used which only Healing skills you want to not have "only lv 1"
