As the title says, im starting rag again because I miss playing it!
I kinda need an idea on some stats and stuff to start off, ive been checking out the wiki but its pretty vague to me just starting out again.
The plan is to solo from novice to RK(Since I dont have any friends that play that i can lvl with)
Any ideas? stats and skills and junk.

Chaos is a USA server
Thor is a Philippines server.

You can play either.

Learn how the stats work and you shouldn't need someone to tell you what stats to get.

The stats are explained with a bulletted list of benefits on the wiki.

I've made my swordsman on Chaos server, and I actually am leaning towards crusader!
My stats so far at base lv.23 and job lv.23 are
str:20 agi:1 vit:22 int:5 dex:20 luk:1

Well, I still would like a general stat build because I still dont understand what the irowiki is telling me
So far im still a swordsman but im going  to be a crusader and then eventually a pally

VIT: 33
DEX:60
LUK:1

Overall good balanced Stat Build.

Skills to get: Faith, Holy Cross, Spear Quicken, Peco Ride, Divine Protection, Demon Bane and Cure

Weapons: Hellfire, Spectral Spear/ Phantom Spear [1] with a Strouf, Santa Poring or Pom Spider Card.
Alternative Weapon: Crescent Scythe[0/1] if with slot, Soldier Skel. will do the trick.

Thats all you will ever need as Crusader and Paladin. You can even stick to Eden Gears till RG.

So sword and shield would be a bad way to go? I was gonna go heavy int.
Also is VIP worth getting if I play often?

KK, I tought you want the fast, easy and cheap way, which is recommended  for a starting Crusader (do you have anything from your previous Game/Account? Or starting fresh and all new?)

 

Yes, Sword and Shield is most likely the worst build for leveling a Crusader, if you are starting new with the game. (Which I assume)

Or lets say.... the longest. Even for GC Builds, because GC is now size dependent so you would hit 100% on medium and large opponents with a Spear type weapon while mounted on a Grand Peco.

But yes, you can do a Sword and Shield build with heavy INT, using Bash, Smite, Magnum Break, Holy Cross (which is a waste in a Sword set up) and Grand Cross. Or do you want a pure Grand Crosser? If yes, think again... you will die a lot w/o funds for healing consumables and equipment.

INT: 70 - 77 (high enough for you? Should be good enough for SP, SP regen and some MATK)
DEX: 50 - 55

Crusader Equipment:

Swords: Pala [1] (if it is still available in Cash Shop), Mysteltainn (Great in combinition with Shield Reflect) and Eden Equipment Quest Swords.
Shields: Valk Shield, Cross Shield, Sacred Mission, Stone Buckler
Rest: Eden Equipment or even a Hermod Set if you do not want the Eden Stuff.
Accssory: Cat Hand Glove [1], SIlversmith Bracelet [1], Morri Belt, Rosary, Bloody Shackle Ball and Shackle Combo, Earring, Iron Wrist if you are using Bash a lot, Morpheus Accessories.
