- Usually the gold sellers sell the gold for a cheaper rate compared to buying IM points and buying IM items to sell for gold.
Plus when you buy pure gold, you get pure gold you don't have to worry about getting cash items and waiting days for it to sell.
- I've been doing many CSS runs, although I kill faster than b4 I have not been earning as much as b4 (eg I use to take the rings, ears and capes
and soulcraft them with aim rate which was worth something then). Plus DSS is several times harder to farm now without CL for lvls 55+
- Set hunting is definitely harder now using gada coins, which weren't required b4, plus the pieces aren't worth as much anymore.
- Insurances was only one example, almost all IM items for sale in the market need to be 1:1 or lower to actually sell.
Plus soul is still selling for a relatively higher price compared to THQ days, suggesting that ppl are still soulcrafting despite the rates.
- Before randomizers I was still struggling to sell farmed equips from THQ for relatively cheap prices, and so was many other ppl.
Randomizers only pushed the prices down a hell of alot further.
- Yesterday I saw a lvl 65 without a single set piece and a lvl 51 +0 weapon. And there's plenty of players floating around who
don't bother to upgrade their equips what so ever. Price may be a factor there or they just dont know how to farm gold without CL

Moving on...
Alot of games have the ability to purchase gold either from the game's shop, or from gold sellers. These games rely on these kinds
of sellers despite how they act so against it (especially when the sellers resort to hacking/botting to obtain the gold). Ppl buy gold the gold,
they then usually spend it in the market since they have an increased willingness to buy up. If those gold sellers are taking from other players
then sure that will only hurt the economy, but most of them use botting techniques to farm gold through killing monsters and perhaps npcing the
equips or maybe selling soul idk. Like I mentioned earlier I don't support them in any way, but the current state of the economy does need
some form of a boost. More players farming would indeed boost the economy, but it's not a very tasteful solution for many.

You are basing your profit from CSS off your luck with soulcrafting. Comparing solely gold earned from npcables and souling equips, the gain after the patch is higher.

On the contrary, set hunting is a lot easier after the patch now that we need gadas. I've made over 8kg off set farming after the patch (around 6-8 runs of cbelkka/ckark), not including the maybe 12 or more stacks of souls from disassembling random equips, and that's taking into consideration the cost of the gadas at 2g each. Now that you get set pieces specific to your class, there is no more waste of getting pieces from other classes that cost nothing due to bad set bonuses. In addition, because we only have to run one F of a specific MM, you will often gain duplicates of previous pieces that you can sell for money, opposed to getting your own piece and moving on to the next F, resulting in no extra pieces to sell for profit.

Before saying the system is bad and that gold is difficult to obtain now, you should try it out extensively yourself instead of basing your results on maybe the 1-2 hours of CSS you did on a character that is above the recommended level of CSS.

Hell, even with a character above the recommended level for CSS, I'm still bringing in over 400gold within the two hours without selling ap/wp drops. Don't know why people are QQing about gold being hard to obtain. It was never hard, and I doubt it ever will be.

And the point is, it is against the user agreement either way about going to these websites to buy gold. If the website doesn't get you first to scam you some money, then the GMs of WarpPortal will swing that ban hammer to your directions.

Either way, I can complain about not having enough gold, but I KNOW its there. You get 1g bags of gold each F1 above Chief Rokko, you can break armors into souls and sell those stacks on the market (most pieces of EQ give around 5-10 souls, weapons 20+), set parts, gada, and other EQs that you don't want that have decent stats that other people might one. (Like a warrior piece with health or strength. Might not sell as much as set pieces, but for those who can't afford set pieces, they can buy what they could use.)

Anyway, the gold is out there. You're job is to find it, and get what you want. If you still feel that gold isn't circulating, remember that more players= more business= more buyers= possible sales. I'm lazy, but I can see that gold is floating around somewhere. That doesn't mean that there aren't enough going around.

Those who use those gold sites should honestly get banned. It's not benefiting the company, which they won't make money off of, thereby stopping Dragon Saga because they aren't making as much money, seeing that you're buying gold from a third party.

After around 5 CSS runs I have yet to come up with 1k (I keep all souls and powders) and I no longer attempt soul crafting. I use to make 400-500g on average per run easily plus any additional aim rate equips, especially capes back then which makes it more profitable then than it is now. As for set piece farming, I tried ckark for 4hrs and didn't get a single piece, only got the souls from dissembling the equips and I've spent over 300 coins on arka runs and got nothing too so yea... I'm not disagreeing with anyone I'm just saying I certainly don't make that much, and I'm sure your average player aint making that much either. Farming now just seems alot more tedious than before, I suppose thats the trade off for having more exp benefits. Or maybe we all just need laptops or a 2nd comp sigh

Perhaps WP should add gold bags or something into the IM shop, might deter players away from gold sellers. I dunno its hot over here =[ :p_devil: australia's like a
desert in summer.

Yes, unfortunately we don't have that option ingame. You submit tickets via the WP Support Center. :]

i think it's better this way actually, if it's too easy to do it people will start doing it over nothing.

The Chaos version of Smoldering Swamp. Which is where the boss Queen Vella can be found.
(I guess that's her name. Not sure how it's spelled now, maybe Yurai will correct me.)

You do realize some classes make money easier than others right? Especially when it comes to equips now. Ninja gear sells very well, things like Howitzer gear doesn't.

i think it's better this way actually, if it's too easy to do it people will start doing it over nothing.

But most people don't know about the external ticket system. It would be nice, if we could actually have a link ingame which leads to the support center when it comes to report game-abusing behavior and harassment.

You can prevent people from false reports easily - false reporting can lead to a warning. Too many warnings can lead to a ban. That is how many games and websites handle these situations.

Once you hit mid 50's or so, try grinding at Chaos Smoldering Swamp. You'll make some money there.

Nah. I just have alts of all levels. When I make a new one it does nothing but sit there and I level it with alts all the way up till it itself can grind in CSS. Then I use that to leech the next alt. It's a nice big chain of leveling.
