What do you mean the account was banned but not kicked by the GM's? I have heard this term several times around the game and in the forums but never understood what it meant. Does it mean that it's only a temp ban? 

Not sure either, but he definitely still had access to the account because the said character changed his pub titles a few times last night.

I was rude back to someone in OD2 once.

I got an email that said I was going to be suspended for 2 days.

i guess GMs are too nice to actually kick you off your client but they will tell you that you've been naughty (and pls log off so punishment can take effect, thx)

That's because they figured it's RO so disconnects will happen eventually.

we shouldn't be one sided. might be a lot of dota2 traders are scammers still some traders are legit. since CMs prohibited this kind of deal, we should brainstorm on how to allow the legit traders.

VModCinnamon has made it absolutely clear that these "traders", DOTA2 or otherwise, are all illegal and should be reported. You are not allowed to trade RO goods for non-RO goods and vice versa, simple as that.

That this particular jackass was also involved with the "fake Oda" scams among other things was just a coincidence, he was already breaking the rules before we found that part out.

It's not allowed period. It's pretty much a bannable offense in several other games I play as well. There is some games that even announce it via bullhorn. 

 

It ruins the moral of the game. We shouldn't have the moral of the game go down anymore then it already is. Why would you want this to be established in ro? We shouldn't be brainstorming anything of this nature when it is not allowed at all!

Regardless if they are legit sellers or not, the fact that they are trading for other games is ridiculous. Pretty soon we would have people selling all kinds of things from all kind of games. >.>

Thanks for the report kingarthur. Account was the middleman for a hack case, receiving the items stipped off of a hacked account. Again, this is the "fansclub"/"Oda Impersonator" with a new trick.
