I did that Q 3 times, with 2 failed
- 1st: I played in chn4, Q failed. I tryed relogging, still failed. then I changed to chn3, it's ok
- 2nd: I played in chn4 again, Q failed. I changed to chn3, it's ok
- 3rd: I played in chn3 and it's ok, no bug

Hello Dragon Saga Friends!
Thank you for all your reports and hints. I have done many tries now and it seems that the 12 days of Christmas quests have especially problems on Channel 1 and Channel 2 while they seem to work properly on Channel 3 and Channel 4. I have an idea what this could come from but this can only be checked if someone is in the office to help me.
I will ask for checking this later. If this is not the solution I will suggest to remove the timing from the quests by the next maintenance (on Tuesday, 12/22). That way the quests won't fail, but all quests can be done on the same day in a row. This is finally not what we wanted, but you all know that we have a game with bugs and no further support from the korean dev side so that we first have to check where this problem comes from before we try using this type of quests again.

Hmm, shame that the gimmick has to go, but better than that then struggling everyday to do them. I always play on either ch4 or 3 and I was having problems yesterday so meh...

Channels, yes that could be it!
Channel 3 is my personal homebase.
In other words I always (yes in lower levels too) play on channel3. This means all of the testings yesterday had been done on channel 3.
I can confirm channel 3 is still working 100% for me.
Just had another testing session for about an hour, with and without group. I have been leader, just member and I left the party early as leader.
The quest stayed and I was theoretically able to finish it within all that time. I had to give it up manually to be able to continue my testings.
After my last testing round I simply went to Santa and completed the quest. I had no problems, not one fail - on channel3.
Poppie, I sadly have to tell you the quest failed for me on channel 1 and 2 within a few seconds, or within a map change inside of the xmas map.
Sadly even on channel 4 the quest failed for me after leaving the mission to complete the quest at Santa. I was not able to reach the Santa NPC before the quest failed on me.
I don't know what this causes, or why the game loves channel 3 that much. But as long as you do the quest on channel 3 it seems you are pefectly fine. My friends confirmed the quest working on channel 3 - being the only channel though, sadly.

I agree with Precrush, sad to see this gimmick go. But if your idea doesn't work maybe it is better to remove it.
Whatever the outcome will be, it was a very nice try!
And you guys have my full respect for trying things like this out. Please don't be too sad and don't stop to try things out. The next try might be a 120% success.

Did the quests on ch3 no problem now, so that seems to work, at least for me.
Edit: A few guildies had problems when even when changing to ch3. In this case restarting the client, maybe just relogging, should make it work.

Hello,
everything with this bug is strange and not understandable to me. As I said I can confirm this bug on the liveserver but have no problems with it on my test system. This makes it even harder to reproduce and fix the bug.
Finally it sadly seems that we have to make this questchain without the daily activation and try something similar in another event.

Choosing a channel seems not a matter to me. For me, always in channel 2.

#1 quest is failed right after you've receive it. So, check the Q (L) before you after the mission map. Doing 1 map only is fine enough. Keep trying. If it won't work, restart the client (even I restart my PC *lolz). I have done the quest by checking the quest before run, (luckily), It's done after few times tried.

#2 quest is failed when I received the #2 Quest with the Christmas in Danger (1) Quest. After done both 2 quests, if returned the Christmas in Danger (1) first, the #2 will be failed. So I have to do it again. Simple, eh?

it failed on me continuously on ch4, but then i restarted the game and completed it in ch 1.
if all else fails restart the game

I don't know what feature of event is coming next after this maintenance but I want to say that if the reward contains inventory expansion, I suggest multiple 1 slot expander instead of 1 multiple slots expander which can "prevent" from wasting them when the inventories almost reach limit.

You can exchange them at the Santa npc in port of the winds center. The santa NPC should stand directly left to the Rudolph NPC.
