Hello everyone!

 

My name is Xcil. Just started playing DS 2 days ago and I'm honestly hooked. Made it to 20 on my first day (thanks, weekend exp bonus!), and I can't get enough.

 

Now that I'm starting to settle and getting to know the mechanics more, I'm looking to find a solid guild that can point me to the PvE raid and maybe PvP direction, as I am very interested in character advancement and end-game content. I also like to socialize with friendly, mature, and respectful people, so having a group like that would be a definite plus!

I would recommend Adrenaline or Paragon as a nice choice of guild.

If you speak a different language and like to taste something with your native tongue, there are guilds that have specific language accosiated with them.

RevenGER, FRAction, DragonSaga and a few others.

These are all pretty nice laid back pve guilds. Of course there are some in there that also pvp so if you would like just ask around. Pvp guilds are a little bit too serious in my pathetic opinion.

Agitodesu - I'll definitely look into those guilds. And yeah, English-based guilds would be my primary choice since I'm from the US.

Just so that anyone reading this won't be mistaken : SouFRANCE is pretty much dead. FRAction as a french guild would be a way better choice.

Sadly Vipergrip is super inactive. You'll be lucky to find it's leader or vices on.

Agito desu  ! Unfortunately Era is super inactive also    Just don't want any player to feel lonely and quiet in the guild, but I don't mind accept some newbies that needed help or ask questions.

The mafia is a guild choice of guild, pretty active there are also some new ones like Dragonsaga and etc, join the one which looks most appealing to you, but of course you don't need to be in a guild to get help.

Duly noted, thanks SillyGoose. I saw that TheMafia had a guild house in Port of Winds as I was browsing the area, but I have not tried to enter it yet. As soon as I get home from work today I'll look into applying for the guild. Thanks for your input!

Mafia currently closed applications. The only way you can get in is to look for members in it and the leader/vice has to be on to invite you in personally.

Yeah I realized something was up when I saw that Mafia was not even in the application board like the rest of the guilds. Well that makes sense.

I think it's stupid that a guild doesn't appear there when they ´have applications off, guilds would still like the publicity I'm sure. Should just like grey out that button or something if the guild had applications off. We'll, we'd be number 800 or something anyway so guess it doesn't matter.

Enter emporia to raise your guild rank. Even if you lose it goes up just by entering. However if you want to reach the top couple spots you may have to win and beat the current holders.

If you're keen on joining mafia, I'm pretty sure they're more than welcome to accept new members, try asking in trade chat or their fellow guild members to pass on the message to their vices / leader.

I appreciate the advice, SillyGoose. I actually just got invited to a decent guild a few days ago, so at this time I'll postpone any further searching until it's necessary.
