This topic is juz for fun to share the ideas of new color and mix the old costumes to creat new costumes

This is my first creation (from sly wizzard set and other stuffs)  I dont know what it should be called(but it looks like cotton candy)

 

I hope everyone have another ideas to share with me

p/s: If possible, I would like these ideas to be ingame, if not, It's ok to have fun with everyone here

I should mention that we can't add costumes which have any similarities to existing anime/movie/game characters.

More importantly, copyright laws are a pain in the neck. But as long as it's only recolored ingame stuff, it's just working on existing costumes. Dunno if any copyright law would apply on this...

Sadly it does, if something can be identified clearly what character it should represent.

Oh man easily all those school uniforms can be copyrighted since they can represent enough characters. Along with martial arts set and so on rip.

That was weird This is my favourite set with my favourite color So we cant use pink,white and vanilla yellow in the costumes?

Licensing and copyright is a really complex subject. And Rainnowx, you're right. The result must not remind of any character which is licensed in any way. I don't make the law and I can't change it.

Well, as you might imagine, there is no objective way to say what reminds of what, or more to the point, what copies what. For example the dress fozalicius showed and the girl it reminded VinylDorayaki of would not be enough to claim the dress was copied, if it was, you couldn't make any pink and white dressed ever, which would be absolutely ridiculous. But I understand WP wanting to be careful with this stuff, which is of course a wise thing to do.

I plan to give a mix to my four characters.

 

But:

_one of them won't really have an impact (Dragonkins' skin can't really imitate Humans' XD)

_two of them would really match the characters I know but no one else (well... let's say 25k people in this planet could tell)

_last one have odds to be obvious even if I fail to mix XD

Copyright is a hard subject to cover with grey areas. You can not make a costume with the intention to represent any anime/movie/game/yadayada. You can not make a costume that other people will instantly recognize where it is from. As long as it is pretty original, although I can probably match 80%+ of the costumes in this game to some sort of anime/movie/game/etc, you can make one or propose one during the mix match event (if they do that again later)

Besides, I'd just like too add that Date A Live came after Dragonica, so some of the sets shouldn't be blammed for being similar to an anime's character.
