Dear Dragon Saga Community,

 

The Dragon Saga staff and I would like to apologize for the recent issue regarding the rollback that occurred. What happened during the night of this incident was that the shear amount of new player data that new players generated during that night overwhelmed our systems. Though we tried our best to salvage the data, we could not and we apologize for that. All Item Mall purchases done during the lost period will be refunded back to your Item Mall accounts as points and as compensation for the lost time we will be starting Double EXP from Now until Friday Midnight and have Extra EXP rates on the Weekend.

 

Dragon Saga has been seeing a large influx of new players in our world and we are totally excited. But, what we didn’t expect was the overwhelming amount of players coming in! Prior to the launch of Dragon Saga on Steam, we doubled the size of the servers and even then it’s filling to the brim every day with new players. We’ve been experiencing growing pains from overloaded logins to gold sellers spamming up the market place.

 

Recently we introduced backend upgrades to help with logins to help with the overloaded logins, we added new filters for players to block trade gold seller spam and as we keep moving forward our staff will continue to work hard to make Dragon Saga a great place for everyone to hang out and have fun.

Didn't even feel the rollback at all, i was expecting 1 week was surprised by how much less it was

Thank you for the heads up, seriously. A company that cares and even officially apologizes is kind of a rarity nowadays imo. Props to the WarpPortal staff and let's hope for a great future.  :Emo_21:

Large number of the new players are the bot gold spammers, better get rid of that. They're in Odelia most of the time lol.

I lost my blue lvl 40 gun staff with +20 int and New origin necklace and they just give me x2 exp for this. Useless developers.

Good thing you didn't lose anything with remotely decent stats. :P
Blaming the developers for scrambling to fix a hardware problem isn't going to get you anywhere, bud.

This is just nonsense. The gold sellers are only a small fraction of the players we now have in the game daily. As Alteris already said, we are working on new ways to get rid of the gold sellers without limiting the players more in the chats.

Blaming the developers for scrambling to fix a hardware problem isn't going to get you anywhere, bud.

For my lvl another blue lvl 40 gun staff with crappy stats sell on market for 100-150 gold. I don't have that money on my lvl.

Chances are very good the support staff can help you with your lost item, so write a ticket.

 

 

 

 

 

Thanks for the apology, but this really wasn't needed in my opinion. You guys did an amazing job with this, 3 hours are nothing. It doesn't even feel like a rollback at all to me.

Thank you so much for your hard work, directed to every single one of you guys working on the fix for this issue.

as long as i get my im back and @Popcorn, how long would it usually take to get your IM Back?

The time we had the massive rollback, it took them 3-4 days. IF I were to guess, I would say about that long. Don't you worry, pal! The staff will make absolutely sure you and everyone else get it back as quickly as they can!

i got no im points back and i have lost 2000G aswell. what is going on?

 

The IM points should be given back today when the office staff is in. It takes a bit time since it is done manually.

The in-game items and gold sadly can't be compensated because the data is lost.

If you lost IM stuff/ IM points write a ticket to the support:

You can try to write a ticket for ingame items too, but I'm not sure if those can be refunded. Cause Poppie mentioned somewhere that data "is lost"...

Honestly all I care about is all this technical nonsense to be over with so the team, who's limited time I imagine cases like this use up, can focus on the actual game itself.
