1. Is element weapon only affect on specific skill? or it is a attack modifier?
2. Which element is the best among all four and what the differences between them?
l'm new to this server where i find out many player wearing an element item, i know how the damage is calculated but still have something i don't know well.
*p/s: i see a ninja getting ice katar, i think q1 doesnt make sense #2*

1. Element damage applies to all skills except "summoned" skills or skills that aren't part of you. Element damage is flat, as long as you hit something that does not have resists to the element you are using.
2. all elements are equal, and do not counter each other. Fire damage is countered by fire resists. Nature is countered by nature resists and so on.
EX: You have 1000 element attack. you will do 1000 damage. Lets say you normally do 5000 damage, if you have 1000 elemental attack, you will do 6000 damage. Using a skill will not boost this "1000" damage because it is flat like I mentioned.
Resists lower the damage done by elements but have to be of the same element.
