Hi there folks, we're out of the office on Monday AND Tuesday for LNY (Gravity wide holiday) so we'll be broadcasting the show at twitch.tv/warpportal on Wednesday!  Either way, it'll be a little different next week. 

 

As before, please try to ask your questions as early as possible so it gives me time to get answers for you.

are you guys working on a new lunar year quest or will what we currently have be all?

 

We're putting in a new Valentines Day quest this week, we didn't receive a Lunar New Year event in time from kRO.

Any plans on releasing names for use that were banned for botting?

I'm sure there's some cool names out there that the community would love.

 

Our policy is to keep those locked down, but I understand what you mean. Generally we try not to posthumously change character names since the names are still important to keep the same for future investigations into illegal activity.

I know this is a bit early, but what are your plans for this years Easter Quest?

I'm mainly asking because my supply of Holy Eggs is getting low and I prefer them to yggleaves. We haven't had a quest that lets us make them in bulk since 2012. The 2013/2015 (still implemented btw) quest only gave out 5 at a time by low chance with a lot of work.

 

We haven't made plans for Easter quests yet! If there are quests like that that you would like to see come back, let us know!

We are getting Hero Trails part 3 this Thursday right?

 

We have received information on what will be coming but we don't have the data delivered yet from kRO.

^pretty sure it's april release. they've gotten data for it but i don't think camp & co are anywhere near finished working through it.

We are receiving data for the next update on the 5th, and Campitor is already hard at work on localizing the quests that will be coming in next week. 
 
The next update will contain the Hero's Trail Part III update as well as an update to the game's map and navigation systems. I'm working on getting that information put up on the website.

it's not even up on sakray for testing yet. there's no way it hits the live servers before at least spending 2-3 weeks on sakray.

Can we have an ETA for the chain lightning position bug fix?

We haven't had an ETA for this bug fix for 2 years already, and it makes a huge difference in gameplay

 

We are working with kRO to get this fix to put in with the april update.

We may get the new one after all, as Oda said in the Maintenance Thread that Camp works on localizing quests which come in this week

What is going to be done about the Classic WoE time desync situation, two times in a row we were hurt by this "bug" , but more importantly small guilds that have been trying so hard to compete had to go fortless 2 times in a row, its not just a issue about loot, it also damages the morale of these guilds.

 

Is there going to be compensation?

Will grandma boxter be updated with the February box that is coming out this maintenance please? Since it's a lucky box she usually gets updated to the current lucky box.

 

Boxter is updated one week after a lucky box is put in.

They used to do this on the original iRO site.

 

He means to change a banned character's name so other people can use it.

Grandma Boxter will most likely be updated next week as the box is coming out this week and Boxter is typically updated one week after the new box arrives.

Hi Oda.

It's 2016, do you think it's possible we un-nerf wickebine black cat ears? http://forums.warppo...-ears/?p=935344 in every other server it has a low trigger chance of bypassing mdef of regular monsters. Heim maybe thought it was too powerful in 2012, but not anymore, so can we get same effect as kro? give mage classes some love.

 

Also, can we get an update schedule for 2016 soon?
