I looked at a few class guides for head gear preferences. Alot of them prefer or mention Evil Marching hat but none mention Star Spangled bandana which I though stats wise was better?

 

is the bandana broken or is there something im missin that makes EMH superior?

I think its cause you have 3 (at least 2) modifiers that stack multiplicatively. 5% for your wATK and eATK and another 5% for your total ATK at +9. Not sure what modifier 2% to all monsters is, but if it is Race or Size then thats another delicious multiplicative bonus.

 

so that would be (1+0.05+1.02)*1.05*[wATK + eATK] ~ 1.12e+wATK

 

versus 1.1*e+wATK

None of these multipliers affect status attack, the calculation is wrong.

 

EMH gives 7% atk 5% ranged. Star Spangled gives 10% racial damage.

Not considering any other gear stacking:

EMH wins for ranged atks, star spangled wins for melee.

White Drooping Eddga wins both, end of story.

Same thing, just different(or not) values of bonus
