At what point does +9 Faw[1] Fatal4ad3ad3 surpasses +11 Wakwak HBP?

because the faw is giving 16% crit damage and 4~5 atk, while the hbp is giving 15% crit dmg, and prolly about 75~80 atk

However, if you need a bunch of all-rounded stuff, like both the aspd and crit, HBP's better than having a half-assed FAW since you can still add that wakwak or petaling into your HBP anyways. FAW can't provide the kind of allround bonus that HBP can if you want a variety of effects. Also partly explains why raydric carded FAWs aren't always hot-selling. These are situations like when you only need one more aspd to hit 193 aspd, and still want neutral resist for example, where a FAW with full aspd would be overkill for aspd, then that HPB's probably better.
Generally speaking, you should be speccing your character to make full use of a maxed spec FAW though

Not sure if this helps but my crit damage goes down by 3.5-4k when i switch to FS16 Wakwak FAW from a Fatal6 ASPD1 Petal FAW

FAW works best when specialized to the max, like full fatal10 enchants and petaling, giving you an enormous bonus of 56% crit damage boost and some atk boost at 120luk. HBP can't compete with that.

Thanks to this very detailed explanation, I've finally decided to just get +9 Menblatt HBP. I know this is regarding GX equipment but after reading this, It seems that my SC will benefit more from the HBP than a half assed FAW( since dex is my only stat that reaches 120).

Yep, and to think that I was about to spend a huge amount of zenny for a FAW . +9HBP is cheaper than FAW in Thor.

I sold my deathblow HBP due to deathblow FAW's better bonus crit/crit dmg wise. I carry both for constant greed and only use FAW when it's absolutely needed
