St. Paddy's day hat effect (drops green ales when fighting monsters) arrives and will be active until June 1st.

does the st patrick's hat drop green ale at +8? i have one and ive killed way over 1000 monsters and i couldnt get a single one to drop, my friend was saying its a really low drop rate but you would think after a 1000 kills one would drop. the irowiki DB has them listed as not dropping at all http://db.irowiki.or...tem-info/18565/  if thats the case will that effect come back in with a decent drop rate?

That was entirely the point of spotlight's existence when it was first implemented.

Bringing people to places that otherwise aren't worth leveling at, not buffing the places people already level at.

Bringing people to places that otherwise aren't worth leveling at, not buffing the places people already level at.

So, spotlight was basically implement for power level the bots

Alberta + Islands would actually be cool. Nice place to create new characters and for new players, nice mobs for about everything sub-3rd class.

 

Geffen and GH would be nice too, for the same reasons. Raydric Card price would reach rock bottom though.

 

EDIT: For curiosity's sake, spotlight drop chance changes also affect mini-bosses?
