Since the old thread is getting pretty massive, I'm requesting that new entries be posted here.
RULES (Please review before submitting)
Entries MUST be 4:3 aspect ratio to be considered for loading screens. If that means that you have to add a "letterbox" to get it to that aspect ratio (640x480, 1600x1200) please do so.
Entries must be 640x480 jpgs at around 100kb or slightly less. You can also include a larger scale version of your image in your submission post. Sites like this will scale down your pictures and let you set a maximum file size.
Please include your character name, server and headgear choice in the post, this will make it a lot easier to add your prize when the new screens go in.

-You MUST note if you are submitting as an artist or with a commissioned work and post the name of the artist
-You may include your deviantart, tumblr, or personal artist website in the artwork
-Using specific elements taken from another artists work (while subject to interpretation) without attribution or acknowledgement of the inspiration can be too close to plagiarism and may cause the artwork to be rejected for consideration.
-Please include your character's name and server in the post so I can get reward items distributed ASAP.
-Resolution: 4:3 aspect ratio, though the art is downsampled to 640x480 so the RO client can recognize it, we prefer that you post it in a larger resolution. The fellow who is archiving High Res Loading screens will also thank you.
-Only one submission per poster per cycle. If you post up multiple artworks during the month, please indicate which one you would rather be included first, otherwise I will choose.
-I am ok with showing guild emblems in the loading screen art but since we have many artists from large guilds it would be best to avoid "join this guild!" verbiage in the loading screens
-The prizes this time will be limited to variations of the Creative Convention hat in it's different colors. On Classic, the tongue mask will remain as an alternative but those should be it. Currently we have the Green, Red, Orange* and Blue* available on Renewal.

Thanks you so much for these new rules, a smaller size to post the entry will do the things easier as file space, at least for me in the case I want to make new loading screens.
is this still ongoing? i want to own a green hat !!
for general addmissions it's always ongoing. they just sometimes take a while to upload due to all the loading screen contests that are usually put on.
