Intro:
Ok so in the previous Metal Assault that we all knew back like 4 years ago? The game had the feature of a beginner lobby. The beginner lobby was a great feature. We need this feature back more than ever now that the game has relaunched. Back when the game first launched in Aeria Games. The game was brand new to everybody. The meta wasn't even created yet. We were all learning as we played. We were all on the same level basically. Now that the game relaunched, veterans of the game from all nations are coming back. This is unfair for first time players having no other option then to PvP with veterans of the game. I will see many beginners from Steam rage quit because they will be constantly getting stomped every game. These beginners need to play against people their own level. We need to separate the beginner lobby and the veteran lobby.
Good side about bringing the beginner lobby back:
-People can play on their own level
(If veterans go against noobs, that doesn't make us better. If noobs go against veterans that will probably just make them quit. When I played I played at my own speed. If I started out and had to play in the same server as veterans I'd quit. Most gamers like to play a game that we believe are decent at. Why put a rookie into war with a veteran anyway, you need to make that rookie grow with baby steps.)
-By playing with people your own level, the noobs will improve in skill.
-If players improve, they will grow a love for the game and not give up on the game.
-If players stick with the game then the game brings in more cash and a greater community.
-In a nutshell the beginner lobby will foster new talent and new fans for the game.
Bad side about bringing the beginner lobby back:
-Currently the game doesn't have that much players to make a split so it might be bad for the time to split the game up.
-There are smurfs (undercover professionals) that will stay in the beginner lobby and stomp on the noobs.
Suggestions:
-Implement the old feature of giving the noobs a shield damage reducer for every time they are shot.
-Have auto aim implemented
-The game used to have PvP grade and when you gained a star, you advanced to the veteran lobby. This won't do because people will literally find methods to never get a star and continue to stay at the beginner lobby and dominate them and make new players quit. So maybe after a certain number of PvP kills say 1000 or so (Not sure) then they will advance to the veteran lobby forever. You can't separate them by the experience level system (like Sergeant) because they might have gotten all that EXP from Co-op but now deciding to join PvP they are already to high of a level and they have to go against pros.
-Beginners should have the option to play veteran or beginner if they would want. Some peoples learning style is that they want to get wrecked by veterans in person to learn and grow their skills. But they need the option to go against people their own level.
-Practice Mode would be cool to have again for the beginner lobby. But it's not really needed.
Closing Words:
I am assuming everyone reading this has played Pokemon before. When you played Pokemon the concept was that you start out as a low level and work your way up with enemies your similar level to grow yourself.
Would you enjoy/continue to play the game if you started the game at level 5 but the only option to battle was if you had to battle against level 60+ Pokemon.
Well the obvious answer should be no. Those Pokemon are way to experienced and it is to much of a stomp.
Pokemon has used this formula of working your way up at your own level for many years. If they changed that concept to where you just get stomped on from the very beginning of the game. The game would not be successful at all in sales. People want a fighting chance. With that fighting chance the public will grow a love for the game.
Everyone has seen the new players from all over always getting the worst scores like 1 kill-19 deaths.
I would see them leave and renter like 4x because the deserter system traps them. So we got new angry and confused players. We need people to stay and without the beginner lobby we can't have new players stay. How fair is it it that these new players are pinned up in the same room as people in Valor and Alternative lol. That's just an absolute slaughter.
