   I have always mained a gene and RK, i just recently made a ranger. I was fortunate enough to down tao and his card dropped, i sold it. So i have about 15b left to spend. I am absolutly clueless when it comes to ranger gear if anyone could be so kind as to give me a best in slot equipment gear for an AS ranger, No mvp or god items please Thank you so much!!!!!

I tried looking through several pages but most are just builds for stats and or leveling spots, i gave up after page 4. As for iro wiki it seems really out of date. I notice the forums really dont have an equipment build for rangers as they do for gene's and RK's and other classes.

What exactly gives you the idea that its outdated?

Ok if you dont trust irowiki, check ropd.info. search for ranger class and check out their gears.

For Pete's sake....

 

AS Ranger is pretty straightforward:

 

White Wing Set:

 

White Wing Suits  Refined up to +8 (it gives you a bonus for each two refine levels, so +9 is useless unless you go +10; if you can afford it, have several WWS carded with elemental cards (Pasana, Bathory, Marc)

 

White Wing Manteau

White Wing Boots

White Wing Brooch

 

For accesories you can equip Sound Amplifiers (I personally use a Bow Thimble with Phen card)

 

For Weapon, Elven Bow + Elven Arrows,  increase your damage using elemental converters.  This is good for starters but if you can afford it get the currently best bow:

 

Big Crossbow (abbreviated as BXB by the players) with the highest upgrade you can.  This bow increases AS damage and SP consumption per refine level and allows you to use elemental arrows, so it packs quite a punch. Use Archer Skeleton cards and try to find one with decent enchants.

 

Seriously, Ranger page on iROWiki is pretty up to date so use it for your stat progression...

And you get ranged enchant option at Mora (the ones that'll give Expert Archer enchant) if your WW Suit is at least +9. Otherwise, you can only get critical enchant option.

SP400 for Boots, SP250 for Brooch, FS7+ for Mant, EA3+ for Suit.

 

These are the ideal rolls for AS build.
