How I dealt with 425:

I used a Namine Metal to copy her damage boost/defense boost, then used my Minnie Mouse to heal when my HP got low. Stacking on a ton of defense boosts helps too.
 
I've also thrown a bunch of money at this game, so I dunno how hard it would be for a F2P user.
 
Anyway, I just used someone elses Minnie in the party to heal. Any healing metal should work. Namine is such an OP metal x.x

Yeah, with my luck, I'll never get Namine. I can't even get a magic Leon. I've got Minnie, Daisy, and Tinkerbelle for healing, but even they're not enough to help me get past Master Ava. I don't think the game is that much harder for a F2P player as you're still relying on luck to get good medals whether you're paying or not.

I'll see about trying to get more defense boost Scrooges, but I haven't really come across much in the events.

Against my better judgement, I bought 6 ten packs last week trying for an Illustrated Sora or Riku. Shockingly, I did not get either.

 

Thank god most of that money spent was google play gift cards I got as birthday gifts, at least that is how I justified buying them to myself.

I once got a pack loaded with 80% Sora. It's like the game is saying "oh, you're looking for a magic Leon? HERE'S A CRAPTON OF SORA MEDALS! ENJOY!!!"

I can't tell which is worse these days: Kingdom Hearts or Ragnarok Online. I'm so lacking in decent magic medals, but the game keeps giving me tons of good power and speed medals.

Magic is my weakness too! I made this clip to show off to a friend, but I can share it here too. My current keyblade setups and other metals. Other than the Olympia that I need to upgrade, I like my setups so far....

 

 

 

Oh and my KH2 Leon killed me.

 

I guilted it once and got 27%, reguilted and got another 27%. On the last reguilt I did, it got a 38%. I used a few magic mirrors and now it is at 40%. 

 

Good to see my RNG gets me screwed over in khx too.

Pulled a 3 medal pack today and well...at least I got a magic Auron I could level up to merge into my 6 star Auron :T

Still slowly progressing through the main story so avoiding the spoilers for 425 >.< I've just been doing as many raids as I can before the event goes away.

I got to around quest 413?? so far....other keyblade wielders be like no I haven't seen Ephemer "But people go missing all the time. It's nothing new". Yeah, people just disappearing, no biggie. Just normally happens :T...

We're gonna get metals in the future that when you share them, they change the music on the home screen. (The roxas one is amazing, but to get it you need to have one guilted Roxas, Xion, and Axel metal then you get it. OP metal with an amazing home music.

Single Target, 6.51 multiplier, 0 cost and it hits 13 times and recovers 7 special gauges when used. OP medal.

 

 

As for the Beasts Castle update, the new keyblade is amazing. I want the Adamantite quest so badly.

Yeah I spent more then I would like to admit on this game, the Leon and Sora Master Form are both guilted too. 

 

Trying to get that Atk Boost II Max now from the high score event. Stupid Large Bodys are tanky.

Well, I had a productive week. Started at level 212, ended at 230. The lux grind is real.

Also killed a 10m raid boss alone, that was not fun.

At Level 1, the weekend raid boss has 33 HP bars and I was only able to whittle down 20 of it solo before I got tired of fighting it. :U This raid is obviously biased towards full parties, not small ones.

Yeah that's one of the things I like about them having weekend raids. Fast way to get lux for the way later levels. I went from 210 to 220 from just attacking in raids. I feel like the number of HP bars is ridiculous too. At the least, we needed 8 party members fighting to take one down, but it still took us about 40 minutes to defeat it. When I was fighting one solo before, it took me a little over an hour of attacking constantly to defeat one.

Yeha, it is a grind fest to do it. I was grinding them away while watching the Sura stream earlier. 

 

Gonna go for 250 next weekend!

 

Just wait till we get the level cap update from Japan, 300 or bust. But they have cooler raidbosses. Not recycled old ones with more HP. They have a cool pirates of the Caribbean one that has treasure chests for limbs. They have insane HP bars but give better rewards depending on what chests you break.

I have a problem. I really really do. But I wanted those metals. I got a lot of guilted metals out of this. I am somewhat happy with it. I also wouldn't be spending this money if I couldn't afford it. I am lucky enough to be able to afford to do this. Anyway sorry about the clickbait title, trying to recoup some of my losses.
